From the moment of our arrival, the staff was nothing but great. First it was Nimrrod, he helped us check in, gave us detailed instructions and talked to us about Dominican rum, since we are Rum aficionados. He not only promoted the resort but tourism and his country. The room was great and had all the amenities promised. The booking of restaurants was easy. The entertainment staff was great, specially Gasolina, Caramelo and Chocolate. They were all veeery friendly and interactive. Juan and Natalie at the premium pool were great and super friendly, we joked a bit while trying to hide from the sun and getting refreshments. One thing to note, we almost didn’t book the trip because of the weather network’s forecast. Me, being from the Caribbean, know that they are not very accurate. 40% pop and 1mm rain means that there won’t be any rain and you will actually have the best tan of your life haha. My unnamed hero for the trip was a girl from the kitchen, I asked her if they had mangoes at the back and she brought a whole one for me cut the perfect way and all. I wish I knew her name. The entertainment was varied and well planned and posted every day throughout the resort. Chocolate came to us at the premium pool on my birthday and took us to do Yoga at the pier. It was great. My birthday was celebrated during Karaoke night and there was a lot of dancing and clapping. The Premium upgrade is worth it in my opinion. Having visited many other all inclusive resorts in different countries, and writing hotel reviews as my part time job. I’d have to say that there are 4 things I’d like to see improved next time I go: 1, please provide better snacks at the premium pool. In other resorts we always had attendants come by offering snacks. They do have a lounge room in the premium side but wouldn’t allow me to go by the pool with a small plate with cheese and toast. 2, the alcohol is very watered down and the only way to get a decent rum is going to the premium lounge. (Leyenda is 100% recommended). If you are at the main lobby during entertainment nights, you have to walk all the way to the lounge (also, closes at 11) to get something decent. I understand it’s part of premium but maybe a premium shelf at the bar in the main Lobby? Also, let’s keep Juan 24/7 at the hotel!! Or clone him, or get him to give a master class to the rest of the bartenders. We were spoiled all day at the pool and at night the lobby bartenders had no idea how to make any cocktail other than what’s on the list. 3, when you go to the buffet, the attendants seem to want to walk you around the whole place to find a table when there are PLENTY of empty tables. One time she walked us past the “inside” part, to the end of the “outside” part just to come back to the “inside” and sit us by a table we had already walked by. After that I started telling them where I wanted to be seated, which they didn’t seem to like. 4, I understand every hotel is trying to sell their membership, but out butler Paul was veeery pushy and after we said no we didn’t hear from him and not a smile more for us. We were changed to Maximo but didn’t really need a Butler because every question we had we went by the Lobby and Nimrrod helped us with everything we would need. (As an extra one, the guy that works at the premium beach towel shack wither hates everyone or hates his job, in 7 days we heard him only when he shouted at us for taking 3 towel by mistake instead of two. Hospitality training would be nice for him) By the way, shout out to the gardens attendants, the grounds are IMPECCABLE!! All and all, I’m very happy and will be recommending this hotel to my friends and hope to be back, hopefully sooner than later.…
We stayed at impressive premium for 10 days building 23. Nice central location to premium pool. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints with the room. Carlos Fabian was our butler. All premium guest get a butler. What a fabulous experience. From the time we arrived he knocked on our room door. Shared his contact information, showed us how everything in the room worked, gave us a resort map, and he quickly typed a letter with my daughter’s food allergies to present to the serving staff to ensure my daughter’s safety. Carlos checked in with us daily from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the resort. Carlos booked any a la cart restaurants we wanted for dinner as well as the breakfast restaurant overlooking the beach. I do not speak Spanish and I must say Carlos Fabian went out of his way to communicate on my behalf. My daughter really wanted to participate in the painting classes provided by the resort. The activities schedule placement sometimes changed making it difficult to find the activity. Carlos went above and beyond to find out what activities I wanted to participate in and texted me whenever those activities were taking place. Carlos seems to genuinely care whether his guests are happy. I didn’t even need to find out when my resort airport pick up was Carlos told me he would take care of all of that and he did. I did not see the need for a butler prior to this vacation it was fantastic. Carlos Fabian dealt with everything so we could just relax and enjoy our vacation. Little problems always arise at resorts but Carlos was our contact to sort things out or put us in touch with the right person to sort out the issue. It is difficult to travel with a child with food allergies when you do not speak the language of the country. Carlos Fabian our butler, Tomis the manager, Manuel and one other man whom I believe was manager of the wait staff so sorry I cannot remember his name always showed up wherever we ate to ensure there were no problems. But Carlos checked daily to ensure all was well or did we just need anything extra. Even if it was a facecloth for the room he would ask the appropriate person for us. The entertainment staff were great. Spicy can really dance and what a kind man he is. Spicy made sure to stop and greet every guest he knew. He remembered my daughter’s name which meant a lot to her. The man bar tender with lovely grey eyes at the premium pool was fantastic and very efficient. The staff work so hard. It can be difficult to get a drink at the buffet at times. My suggestion is when you find a staff member who is good at ensuring their guests have something to drink make sure to try to sit in their section daily. Jessie who does the art class is very talented. We had a great vacation. Carlos Fabian really went above and beyond for us. He made our vacation what it was. Without him I would not have given 5/5. If you can get Carlos Fabian as your butler all will go well and you can relax without having to do anything knowing while you are at the beach or pool he is taking care of everything in the background so you can enjoy. Some guest in the premium section said they never met their butler or were unaware they had one. I did not need to look for Carlos he found me and introduced himself minutes after we arrived. The hotel is great the food is good staff is lovely very nice place good drinks amezing stay here. Highly recommended the animation staff always happy and have great energy very positive and energetic. From the beach is the morning you can see great sunrise. We are happy to comeback in sometime. We arrived at this resort a day after Hurricane Fiona. It was amazing that the resort was already cleaned from the debris. We were able to use the pool right in front of our room. They tried their best to open ala carte restaurants. We were able to get reservations for the Japanese and steakhouse which were both great. Staff was friendly especially Luisa from the spa/massage. She is a good massage therapist. Buffet was also good. Our room facing the pool was spacious had a double shower and sink in the bathroom. Perfect for a couple or with small children.
I stayed 12 nights at impressive Hotel and every night has been special to us and great bar is great there’s always a spot to grab a drink friendly and lovely staff everything is clean room service no issues we aslo got an upgrade room because issue that happened to our room and the best part about our stay is entertainment group from the hotel chocolate and caramelo those are great guys for entertaining people thank you everyone for the special vacation.
Excellent service and very friendly staff with great entertainment activities ... Highly recommended for couples & families . They had different activities everyday and amazing vibes ... Chocolate from the entertainment group was really friendly and funny .. Appreciated everything they did for us.

Got here on Tues 27th and it has been amazing, the staff so friendly and I speak zero Spanish and they tried their best to assist me. The food amazing and sooooo many options. The entertainment omg the Michael Jackson show was the best but one that stuck out to me the most was CHOCOLATE he was the most entertaining, so friendly so nice, made our stay even more amazing. I would recommend to anyone!!!!!!!!
Had an amazing stay. Willnier was very helpful and amazing. Room was good, awesome drinks. Entertainment was a lot of fun. Beautiful beach and pool. The staff were very helpful. Can’t wait to come back!
We had a great first trip to Punta Cana. Excellent service at the resort and Carlos Fabian did a great job making sure we were taken care of! Highly recommend! Beach was awesome and weather was perfect!
