My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food and variety of dining choices were amazing. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. The entertainment and add ons (extras) were great. We loved the variety of excursions. Our only tip to travellers is that if you have a specific preference of alcohol, stop by the duty free on your way to DR and pick up your favourite brand. I personally like tequila and found that there wasn’t a good selection.

What can I say! We are literally on our way home now after 11 amazing days staying here and missing it already! We were 2 families of 4 and think we can speak for them to when I say how welcoming they are all there, the reception staff were great and always very helpful as were the ladies who helped book the restaurants. The guys around the pool the entertainment team - Chocolate, Coco Cola and Coffee were just brilliant, always made the effort to come and speak to people around the pool and were very good with their activities and entertaining to that’s both day and night!! The guys around the pool were always there for drinks and kept us topped up, and the guys in the towel hut were great to always happy to swap the wet towels for dry clean ones for us. The food in the buffet was great plenty of choice and always something for the two vegetarians on our party. They do have restaurants there which get booked up very quickly La Lola - Tapas avoid it! Awful and we left half way through, as was Bhogali - Indian was just an ok, the steak restaurant Eldorado average! Steaks just put in the table with no idea what or who’s was who’s!! Now for the BEST - Sumptuori this was absolutely amazing the food the atmosphere the staff, was that good we went twice!!! The rooms - We have a garden view and a Loft room and both were lovely and very good on size, our friends had a little problem after the rain storms with cockroaches and that was sorted by reception with a can of spray!! This was our first time visiting the Dominican and will definitely not be the last. Overall this is a beautiful clean and tidy hotel with brilliant staff and always plenty of food choice even for the picky eaters!!!

Wrong/Incomplete Information Given in Room Checkin as i requested 2 queen bed but given 1 king and 1 sofa bed and was told it as per availability and while booking room i did not found that "As per availability" and the attendant told sorry and we are giving u a upgrade from garden view to pool view which i found when i moved in to room was garden view. also my booking was in Grand Palladium Bavaria but was forced to stay in Palladium Punta Cana. Make sure which lobby you are checkin and don't get fooled by the attendant for selection of room

I have to admit that I've booked this just a week before going and for February break week, which is the busiest week of the year. Booked through JetBlue vacations, a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, and was checked into a room with two single beds. After much argument, was able to upgrade to a bigger room at additional costs. But my point being, neither hotel nor JetBlue should have allowed to book 4 people into a room suitable for 2. Even in the bigger room, all the furniture was coming apart. The air-conditioned sounded like helicopter starting up and turning off every 5 minutes. The food in buffet was quite bad, with even breakfast being barely addable. Coffee is difficult to come by. Specialty restaurants were a bit better. Beach and pool were great, and to give hotel credit, there was never a problem with towels. But everything else was a disappointment.

Amazing spa, friendly staff everywhere. The sports activity area was impressive. You name it, they have it; mini put, pickleball, badminton, ping pong, courts galore! Great places to take photos around the resort, loved that we had access to all three. Beach was gorgeous and clean.

Upon arrival, we were told that the reserved room would not be quiet, because it was near the pool (Punta Cana resort). We were proposed to move near the ocean in the Bavaro section, for an extra 250$US. With confidence, we accepted to pay and move. However, the next night a water infiltration occurred. Il took 31/2 hours to send someone to check, then report then decide to move us to another room where there was no hair dryer, broken refrigetor and safe. Even if we stayed 9 days, the hair dryer never came and the safe was repaired on the 8th day after a whole night of alarm ticking! I was invited to write a complain, which I did, but final answer was to address the problem to our travel agent because Grand palladium is not responsible. We only asked for the 250$ refund because we were not upgraded but downgraded! We lost more or less 8 hours, going from one administration to the other and waiting for someone to come and repair the safe.

Nice resort and beautiful beaches. Aside from the scenery, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. After previously staying at Grand Palladium in Mexico, I was expecting the same type of service and 5 star stay in Punta Cana but was extremely let down. This stay was very disappointing. Would recommend any other resort in the Bavaro area but would strongly recommend elsewhere than Grand Palladium. If you want good service, look elsewhere
