From stepping off the plane on arrival at Lombok Praya International to stepping back to depart The Lombok Lodge managed seamlessly every aspect of our luxurious break. 4 days of total relaxation in paradise particularly with the new addition of Bagno Di Gili The Lombok Lodge’s new Private beach on Gili Meno, location, food, beverages and facilities perfect and all to the extremely high standards that is The Lombok Lodge. Exemplary friendly attentive staff as always made our stay incredible. In these new times of Corona the extra attention to hygiene standards is there to ensure a safe environment away from it all. For over a week, we had the resort to ourselves and we were treated like royalty! The rooms were simple but spacious and offered all we needed but it’s the resort itself that makes this the location to stay at in Lombok. The resort features a beautiful pool that is deep enough that you don’t feel like it’s a wading pool, and it’s long enough to do laps.
The staff were remarkable: attentive, polite, and able to cater to theirs guests in every way possible. They exhibited excellent COVID protocols and gave us the peace of mind that enabled us to truly enjoy our vacation. Special shout out to the resort manager Pak Mangsur and the wonderful front desk team (Pak Yudi, Pak Jho and Mba Aida) who were available at all hours for questions or any needs. From a food perspective, Chef Jiwa delivered stunning meals every day and took time to personally visit us and check-in to ensure our meals were to our personal preference. He prepared “Royal Breakfasts” each day and wowed us with stunning 5-course dinners each evening. Needless to say, we wish our palates were still being delighted by the delicious food concoctions by Chef Jiwa!
We did private island tours with the Lodge, and we completed our PADI certification with them as well. In addition, the Lodge boasts their private strip of island on Gili Meno called “Bagno di Gili” which offered beautiful clean beaches, delicious food (prepared by the amazing Chef Jiwa) and stunning snorkel opportunities to see the sea turtles.
All in all, a beautiful experience, and we look forward to returning! Thank you to the Lodge staff for making our stay so memorable! See you very, very soon!

This immaculately kept resort is run by a team that are there to make you feel at home, relax and forget all your worries. We have been to some of the best hotels and resorts in the world, and the service at the Lombok Lodge is at least equal to all of them. When it comes to the gastonomic experience, the head chef and his team surpassed all of my expectations. Every dish of every meal is made with a skill that matches some of the best European restaurants. The explosion of tastes is a joy experience. I'm just glad they have a great gym that helped me feel less guilty every day. If you are looking for service, relaxation and fine dining, then look no further. We will return!

It seems to me that this hotel wants to be a top notch hotel but is not quite living up to it. The place is not running super smoothly even if the staff is mostly nice and smiling.
Seesm like the lunch menu is way too long as not all dishes are available and the staff taking the order is not aware if things are not available so you have to wait a while before they get back and say that no that dish can’t be made that day.
The dinner is set up by the pool in a very harsh light, not cosy at all. Luckily for us it was raining every night so we were spared this experience. Also be aware that there might be entertainment during dinner. A local band singing covers super loud. The staff was nice enough to set us up in the bar for dinner to let us avoid the entertainment. For our stay there was entertainment for two out of five nights.
Nice to be able to have breakfast in the room, very comfortable. The afternoon tea has the exact same nibbles every day.
They have an app sending push messages, you can turn off the messages after day one as it’s the same every day and it will invite you to a drink by the beach even if it’s pouring rain out.
This is a nice place but be aware of the price tag and how much you are prepared to pay. If you find a deal, definitely go otherwise maybe have a look around before you decide.

Dear bee438, Dear Mr. T. and Mrs. J., "... This is a nice Place, ... Definitely Go!" These words made me smile again after reading the less exciting title of your review. I am sad to read that your stay was less impressing than expected. Nevertheless, I am grateful you still recommend The Lombok Lodge here on Tripadvisor and I am really pleased to know that you appreciated the services of our 'nice and smiling' team while staying with us. You are correct, we do offer a very extensive menu of island-fresh culinary creations for lunch. I absolutely understand that it is annoying when - despite the variety of dishes - an item on the menu is not available and I wish to apologize for not having mozzarella and strawberries available during your stay. Allow me to clarify; with produce sourced from the best domestic and international suppliers, dishes are complemented with ingredients straight from our own gardens. We prefer to work as much as possible with local products, try to avoid imported products where possible. Due to the recent heavy rains, we were urged to refuse local strawberries as the quality did not match our standards. The wait for imported ones took unfortunately about 2 days and that is why we have fallen short. In addition, I must admit that we are slowly starting to feel the impact of the fact Indonesia banned some EU goods in dispute over the Palm Oil Trade, in which some imported dairy products (ex. mozzarella) and some champagne brands are from time to time hard to get in Lombok. We do the utmost to minimize the inconveniences of the embargo for our guests by working with a large number of suppliers and I am happy that most of the days, we succeed in this. I am grateful to know that my team was able to make you happy by setting you up privately in the bar for dinner since you would rather dine in a darker and quieter setting than our restaurant. Lombok Lodge is the epitome of a Boutique hotel , chic with extraordinary attention to detail . The owners Ben & Anja run a very tight ship and are warm and welcoming. The food is delicious , fresh and beautifully presented with a wine list way better than expected. We also enjoyed a perfect day at the resorts private beach club on Gili Meno. A must do experience. The staff are on it , very well trained and all have wonderful smiles. I have to especially compliment Hamdi the GM - TOP. We look forward to returning. Ps. The pool is stunning quite and a beautiful place to chill and spend the day.

It was our first time in The Lombok Lodge and we felt immediately at home because of the very warm welcome of the nicest staff. The view and design of the lodges are imazing. The service and the food are excellent and all done with love. The owners have tought about every little detail wihat makes you feel very special. If you love nature, silence, fantastic food and friendly personel, The Lombok Lodge is the place to go to. For sure we will go back to this small Paradise.

Our first get away after the lockdown and we found the PERFECT place. The Lombok Lodge is simply incredible from the wonderful staff, who are immaculately turned out and impeccably trained where nothing is too much trouble. Service is second to non and masters the attentive without being overpowering balance perfectly. The property is wonderful, in superbly maintained condition and the operation from arrival to departure is 100% Covid safe with all measures implemented across the entire site and staff. The food is just incredible, the best we have experienced in Lombok, Indonesia and across South East Asia. It’s very easy to recommend this property and stay for a relaxing getaway, with all facilities and contacts for a great time from private set up on the Gilis, snorkelling, relaxing and indulging in some fantastic meals in an incredible setting. It doesn’t get any better than the Lombok Lodge.

After a waiting period of more than 2 years (due to COVID restrictions) we were thrilled to travel for the 7th time to this fabulous place! From the moment you enter the Lombok airport building, you feel welcome. First of all, a hostess is taking care of your smooth transfer through the airport and once you get in the Lombok Lodge Car, you feel already the vibe of the Lodge.
Arriving at the Hotel and being welcomed by the owners, Ben and Anja and the Manager, Hamdy and some of the staff gives you the feeling you are a special guest.
And again, all our expectations were exceeded. The property is maintained outstandingly, the rooms are extremely clean and modern, the quality of the food is amazing (a big thank you to Chef Jiwa and his team) and the overall atmosphere at the Lombok Lodge is one of tranquility, attention to detail and happiness with a lot of smiles from the staff.
People often ask us why we are each time returning to The Lombok Lodge and one of the reasons, amongst others, is the staff. They work since years in this place, they know their guests (even if you would come the first time) and they make the difference.
We had the opportunity to spend some extra time with some of the staff members and would like to say a big thank you to all of them and especially to Hamdy, the Hotel Manager, Dony (he took care of us while we spent 3 days in the newly built Lombok Lodge Villa - amazing experience), Jho who took us on a bike tour crossing small villages and rice fields, Aan who walked with us around Gili Meno (where The Lombok Lodge own a private beach area - a must to experience) and Jumadil, who loves taking his guitar to sing a song for you. Also a special thank you to Aida and the Front Office Team and to the "Tea Man", to Widia and Widia (spa) and to all the other lovely people who made our holidays unforgettable.
In order to bring some variety (as we stayed two weeks) in the dinner pattern, we were surprised by the staff during our second week as they prepared a table for us on the jetty, at the boat house and near the beach. The pathway to these tables were lit with numerous candles and sprinkled with frangipani flowers. They truly created happy memories for us. Again, to all of the team, thank you!
I indeed would also like to mention that we spent a few days at one of the private Lombok Lodge Villas. This was a unique experience. The villa is located on a private beach, 15 minutes drive from The Lombok Lodge. The villa is tastefully designed and luxurious with a private swimming pool. The villa offers a 24/24 butler service taking care of anything you like and includes housekeeping and a chef from The Lombok Lodge.
I could go on and on... but would like to end with saying: we will come back, without any doubt!

This hotel has a lot to offer. Right from pickup we could feel the beautiful soul of the hotel. The driver was welcoming and all details were taken care of to make us feel confortable. We were greated at the hotel by a smiling professional team that made sure our stay would be up to our expectations. They are present, yet discrete at the same time, to make you feel like home. The food is amazing, certenaily a highlight! The chef offer a 5 course gastronomic menu different every night. The sweet attentions adds up to the experience (beautiful sunrise over Rinjani volcano, Bagno Di Gili beach retreat, turndown service, afternoon tea, tasty detox water...). The protocol for COVID-19 is also well respected and it feels like the perfect retreat. Thank you to the wonderful staff that really do take the experience to another level.

Nothing is too much for the team of The Lombok Lodge and every detail is well executed. We had a fantastic and relaxing stay in this beautiful resort. The food was delicious and both prepared and served ‘with love’. The ‘lodges’ were very comfortable and stylish decorated and special ‘covid’ protocol was observed in the entire resort as well as by all staff. We loved the visit to the Gili islands and the sunset ‘cruise’ in the resorts own boat. We will return soon and we can recommend The Lombok Lodge to anyone who appreciates the good things in life.

The closest area is Sengigi which is about a half hour away by car. The Oberoi is next door to the Lombok Lodge and you could head there to have drinks at sunset. But why would you leave the Lombok Lodge. The food and drinks are amazing!

Referring to your question regarding the beach at The Lodge, I regret to inform you that, even though our rooms are close to the sea and all rooms offer a stunning Ocean View, The Lodge beach is just a small white sandy area. However, this is a small sitting are on the beach, as well longhairs/sunbeds on the sandy area.
For a walk on the beach, you can wall a few kilometers on a lovely beach, at about 5 minutes from The Lodge.

Referring to your inquiry regarding inter island transfer from Seminyak in Bali to Lombok, you are correct that it is available by flight, as well as by fast boat. Garuda Indonesia operates a daily flight from Bali to Lombok by Boeing 737-500 with a capacity of 12 business class and 96 economy class seats. Other local carriers are available such as Lion or Wings Air. Garuda runs very smooth and quick as already mentioned in the reply of TheMacchabees. (Thank you TheMacchabees!;-)) The estimated travel time from Bali to Lombok is approximately 30 minutes. The estimated travel time from Lombok International airport to The Lombok Lodge is approximately 70-90 minutes.
Blue Water Safari fast boat, operates 30-seater fast speedboats, every day, from Serangan Harbor in Bali to Teluk Kodek in Lombok at 08:00 am and arriving at TelukKode harbor at 10:30 am (via Padang Bai harbor at 9:00am) and return. The estimated travel time by speedboat from Bali to TelukKode harbor is 2 – 2,5 hours.
A pick-up service (on sharing basis) from your accommodation in Bali to Serangan/Padang Bay Harbour is included in the fast boat ticket price, as long as your accommodation in located in the fast boat company’s service area. Prices for fast boat- and plane tickets are similar.
