My wife and I were travelling on our honeymoon and were booked originally for two nights at The Oberoi Lombok. From the time we arrived at the hotel it felt like pure bliss. The drive to the hotel was serene with the hilly landscape and moonlit beaches that we drove by. The hotel itself is located at beautiful spot with a lot of greenery around it. The General Manager Mr. Sunit Mukhija was a delight to interact with and so was the rest of his team. The rooms are fabulous, spacious and tastefully designed. The hotel has a fantastic view of the ocean and the food is to die for. We even took the hotel’s private boat to venture out for some scuba diving sessions. The experience was phenomenal. All in all we enjoyed the stay so much that we extended our stay by one night and reduced our stay in Bali by one night. Hope to be back again.…

This is not only one of the most luxurious resorts we have stayed in but also one with the most friendly and attentive staff in all areas. We stayed in an ocean view room, which was really spacious with a large terrace. The attention to detail was fantastic – nothing was too much trouble – loved having my bed turned down and slippers and footstall at the ready (really large bed – so needed to get on and off!) We got a DVD to watch one night and this came with complementary popcorn. The pool area was lovely with really good quality loungers, fresh water, sun screen and cold face/hand towels were provided at regular intervals. The gardens were immaculately kept and peaceful. There was a jetty where you could get a boat from or arrange watersports. Afternoon tea with the most amazing cakes was provided every afternoon. The dining experience is fine dining – and the chief comes out to speak to you – also you can ask for other foods to be cooked if you require. Weather permitting you are able to sit outside overlooking the pool and sea, which looked lovely as it was all lit up. Breakfast again is amazing – such a wide choice on the menu and served outside overlooking the sea - loved the fact that it was waiter service rather than self-service. My only negative is that there needs to be snack type menu at lunch times. I have raised this and apparently it is something they are looking at doing. It is really easy to get a taxi to and from the hotel as they arrange everything for you. Unfortunately I accidently slipped when I was out on a trip with and external tour guide (Get Your Guide – would recommend, booked externally as a gift to us – The Oberoi can offer the same trips) and fractured my wrist and had to be operated on. Even though we hadn’t booked the trip through the hotel –the help and support given by The Oberoi was second to none – I have to thank Sunit Mukhija the Hotel Manager for the kindness shown as I was in hospital for 2 nights. The hotel provided support by putting a member of staff at the hospital, sorting out transport to and from the hotel for my husband, the hospital was an hour’s drive each way. We have travelled extensively but not used The Oberoi hotels before – but would highly recommend. We would certainly go back.…

My only complaint and this is very personal, the hotel were never informed , I don’t like cups which I can’t see the inside of ....the Oberoi have brown cups. Now for the positives..... Wow what a hotel and what beautiful friendly staff from gardeners to housekeeping, to management everyone goes above and beyond what they can to help and make your stay perfect, anyone who could complain about anything in this hotel should stay at home and count their blessings. The staff are what make the hotel and your stay special, but the location is tremendous, the maintenance amazing, the attention to detail cannot be faulted, food delicious and plentiful, in all of our extensive travels this has been the best hotel in the World and a brand that we shall seek out in the future. We arrived on my husbands birthday and he truly had the best most memorable birthday ever, they had gone to a lot of effort. We stayed in a couple of different villas both ocean view, one with garden one with pool, during our stay, each was perfect in every way. Even our departure was memorable and special. Well done to all the team at The Oberoi Lombok it is a difficult and worrying time for the hospitality business and all of its staff we hope for a quick resolution and for full travel to resume as soon as is safe.…

Absolutely lovely place fantastic staff and service, so friendly and just can not do enough to make your stay so special, all the bungalows were of a very high standard and alway immaculately. The service and the food was brilliant, it’s so piece full and it’s a bit out the way but that’s how we like it, if you want to go out they have there own horse and cart to take you, the taxis are also super cheap, highly recommend, we used Bluewater express to get from Bali to Lombok, it takes about 2.5 hours but it’s super fast and great fun. If you want a great place for a relaxing holiday then this is great. Thanks Barry lee

We recently stayed at the Oberoi Lombok. It was outstanding. From the moment I booked the hotel the staff were so helpful. They even made our flight bookings as I was having trouble doing it online. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We spent 5 fantastic nights in a ocean pool villa. I highly recommend these villas. Very spacious, private and luxurious. All the staff made sure our stay was perfect. From the boat desk, chef, spa, wait staff and guest services team we were well and truly looked after. The manager the assistant manager were so welcoming and enquired regularly if there was anything we needed. We ventured to the markets, the village and to the Gili islands. Turtle City was a highlight. Every staff member we encountered was so happy, and so keen to make our stay memorable. The food was amazing - so many choices and the chef was more than happy to adapt the menu to suit. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I’d highly recommend The Oberoi. …
