We stayed in 2 different rooms on 2 separate occasions, both were large and extremely comfortable. The B&B is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. We were cycling the Coast and Castles route and were offered a safe place for our bikes overnight. The breakfasts were traditional full cooked breakfasts, beautifully cooked to order. There's a great place to eat within...

Booked 2 nites with our 2 berth caravan to visit holy island etc but were shocked and disappointed to find the 5 hookup caravan bays were in a small farm yard with no views and very old toilets in a shed, all the other vans were on top of each other with no privercy at all ,very closterfobic, sorry to...

We would like to thank Janet for her comments, which unfortunately do not paint a true picture of the site. The site is inspected by by the Caravan Club, and the position and spacing of the sites were agreed by them. While we agree that there is not a view, we find that most people like to get out of...

We stayed at the Brick Mill Farmhouse during our Coast and Castles long distance cycle ride and had a relaxing and comfortable stay. Our room was pleasantly and traditionally furnished with a separate bathroom alongside. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and set us up well for continuing our ride the next day. Local pubs and restaurants are around 1 to...

This farmhouse B&B is in a lovely quiet location, up a long driveway off the road to Lindisfarne. We booked a double room with private bathroom but had not quite realised that this did not mean ensuite. However, we had a large bathroom just for us right next to the bedroom. The breakfast was very good and cooked to order....

Stayed here one night whilst on our way down from Scotland. After one false road we found the turn just after the level crossing. Made very welcome. I liked the shared table at breakfast. I know it is not to everyones taste but it works and helps breaks the ice. The room was very comfortable and I liked the sofa...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Holy Island. The hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation clean and very comfortable. Ann told us all about the walk across the sands to Holy Island (invaluable!) and we met a pleasant German family over breakfast in the relaxed farmhouse setting.

We had a great time visiting this part of the world, and this B and B was lovely and friendly. Up a private road between fields where peas in pods were growing. Lovely breakfast as you'd hope. We walked to the Barn restaurant both nights, very nice too. Had WiFi that worked well but phone signal was good anyway.

This is a remote and isolated B&B with a charming lady running it. If you are looking for a central location then do not go there. If you are looking for a very quiet and hospitable place then take it. Do not expect much luxury, but all facilities are right there. The cons are: - Remote from anything - Very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
200 Year old farmhouse only one and a half miles from the A1 but in a tranquil setting. Ideal for a base for exploring the area. The house has been tastefully re-decorated in Winter 2014 and is furnished in keeping with its period. We have a combination of King-size/double/twin and single rooms. Dogs are welcome by arrangement. We are situated in a dark sky area and of course makes viewing the night sky a truly wonderful experience. We pride ourselves with providing a quality service. We have a 9-hole golf course and adventiure golf on part of the farm ... more   less
