A beautiful historic park to visit it is a shame that the beautiful historic Wolf house has not been restored. The land and rolling meadows are magnificient to view any time of the year wuth it's lush greenery.

My friend and I hired Jason Brown at Jack's as our fishing guide on the White River. We not only caught lots of Rainbow Trout, heard a lot of Mountain View history and great stories! Wonderful trip and we both plan to return and catch more next year. The river is beautiful and Jason knows the river so well.

Although this is not a luxury hotel, it is an excellent place to stay. It is clean and updated - much better than any place in town. The screened in porch was delightful. It is directly next to the beautiful White River. JoJo's Resturant, which has wonderful catfish along with a full menu, is on the premise. We had a...

We to Jack's for a short trout fishing trip. The rooms are neat and comfortable, with a nice view of the river from a screened porch. The restaurant on site is very good and reasonable. Boats were well kept, too. WiFi was a little sketchy inside the room but not to be a problem.

Three of us were on a motorcycle trip and stayed at jack's. Super friendly people, nice simple place. We had a full kitchen so we cooked out meals there. We loved it there walking on the boat dock, looking a the pretty river. We had a room upstairs with an enclosed porch. Had a great time visiting with the fishermen...

Clean rooms, microwaves, coffee pots and fridges in rooms; ability to have a bonfire near the pavillion with wood provided (at cost); Jo Jo's restaurant had excellent catfish! Right on the White River, great riding roads and neat crafts, folklore shops in downtown Mountain View

Loved the area & restaurant! It is about 10 mins from town so it's quiet. BUT the air conditioner was very noisy and made it hard to sleep! the room has lots of space; loved having the microwave & mini frig in room. The shower had great pressure and hot water for all 4 of us to shower. .... There...

I have taken my son's and now my grand kids to Jack's since 1995. It is a tradition in our family and we look forward to going every year... I would not ever like missing a year with my family taking them to Jack's... Cabins always clean, simple and provide plenty of space. The screen porch over the river has...

The word resort should be used loosely when speaking of Jack's. The "resort" features several hotel type rooms and a handful of cabins. The cabin in which we stayed was old and definitely worn but was comfortable enough. A few updates, a coat of paint and some basic maintenance are largely overdue. The boat dock where they rent out their...

“Did not see the bungalos, old stone tiny rooms on river. Chose double room with kitchenette since no breakfast offered. Had to stay upstairs, but was not a problem for us to climb 15 stairs since we traveled very light for extremely casual country atmosphere.”
