We arrived with plenty of time to explore before dinner. Before you explore, charge what you need to charge cuz once everyone discovers it, you run out of outlets. The charging station is near the dinner tent on the left if you're facing it. There is a little museum there. One of the guys who looks like Jack Sparrow claims...

Staying at the Ammarin Bedouin Camp was one of the highlights of our trip to Israel and Jordan. After a long day visiting Petra, we were driven to the camp by Desert Eco Tours. My husband, son, and I were the only guests. Two non-English speaking men were waiting for us when we arrived and very politely and sweetly served...

This place was a wonderful oasis in Jordan! The owners were so incredibly hospitable... I didn't want to leave. My friend and I (both female and in our 20s) were the only guests at the camp at the time and the entire staff as more than attentive. They played us music, talked with us about the surrounding areas, the camp...

Against the rocks of little Petra, a different style of accommodation. We stayed as part of a larger organized 2-day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum. This was my preference over a hotel in town and was a good compromise w the mother-in-law-to-be regarding: creature comforts (electricity, hot showers, towels) versus rustic, under the stars, in a tent and on...

The landscape this bedouin camp is surrounded by is beautiful and remarkable. The People at the camp are very nice and welcoming and food is delicious. Sitting at the fire and hearing about this community project give you the feeling of being travelling back in time, but at the same time of being part of something meaningful in the present...

I was looking for a place to stay in Petra. I found some and the prices were exorbitant. Then I ran across this gem and am I glad that I booked this. The accommodations are good, more than just basic. The site is actually quite large and can hold some pretty big groups and thankfully was mostly empty when we...

A fantastic camp, with great service, hospitality and support for our event. We were made very welcome, no language problems, those looking after the camp integrated with us. We booked this camp for our first gathering, which we called Manna Gathering, the first event of this kind bringing individuals together from a number of places around the world as well...

I visited here through Desert Eco Tours and whilst our host was lovely and the view at night was great, it was otherwise quite average. With the exception of the incredibly hard pillow, it was surprisingly comfortable and I was surprised to see great bathrooms/showers. We had dinner and then chatted with the other tourists and then went to bed....

I was traveling alone as a young American woman, and I felt very safe, comfortable, and welcomed at this camp. A family with two young kids also stayed at the camp the same night, and the staff were equally as welcoming and inclusive of the children. Highlights included: storytelling and traditional music around the fire; beautiful location; small museum showcasing...
