We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Marriott at Petra. We stayed for three nights with our two children (ages 8 and 9). Our room was comfotable and had a gorgeous view of the mountains of Petra. We are Marriott rewards members, so we also had free wifi in our room, as well as in the lobby. The buffet...

This is a low key but warm and intimate hotel. We stayed for three night with two young kids. Staff were very friendly and always ready to do extra miles to serve you even tough I have to admit that this hotel is pretty much under-staffed. The sunset outdoor lounge at the back of the hotel is nice. Simple but...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and it was entirely satisfactory. Petra, like most of Jordan, is suffering an 80% decline in the number of tourists, which is too bad, as it's very safe. A few hotels have closed do to the slowdown. This Marriott is satisfactory, but it is removed from the town center and the...

If you have a car this is a great place to stay, but otherwise it's a bit out of the main stream of things. The view is gorgeous and the facility is lovely. There is nothing one can walk to from here. With a car the center of town is only about 5 minutes.

We used this hotel because we thought we got value for money as we could use our Entertainer voucher. However if you want to visit petra often then Petra guest house or the Mövenpick is better as it is literally opposite the Petra gate. The Marriott is at least a 10-15 car ride away. The food is ok, nothing to...

We were a group of 30 . This is what I call a beautifull hotel nicely located. Perfect place for sunset. And not far from Petra. Modern room with a fully equipped bathroom. Free wifi in the lobby only. Strong signal. Nothing to complain about. Very good and complete breakfast. Room is furnished with very good furniture and you have...

We stayed here for two nights while on our ten day vacation in Jordan. Our room was clean and comfortable. Wifi was only free in the lobby, but this did not bother me as I was here to see Petra. The hotel is a little drive from Petra, but we had a driver so this wasn't a problem. The view...

Located 10 min from the Petra visitor centre in an elevated position overlooking Petra and the mountains. The check in guy (did not get his name but he had a mustache)was not friendly and abrupt. Great view from balcony off bar/restaurant but that is all that is positive. Breakfast is very basic and staff not interested . I would recommend Movenpick as close to other restaurants outside of hotel whereas Marriot 10 mins from town with nothing around.
