We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, breakfast was good and evening buffet dinner had lots of nice and fresh food. It was indeed a bit cold, but I suppose we are used to western standards. Concierge very helpful. The only pity that at the SPA there was a man doing a massage, which at the end I did...

Thanks and appreciation to your team for taking extra care during our stay on new year 2017. This hotel has reception on 6th floor and all other accommodation room are on lower level. All rooms have very good view of valley. We have visited the hotel during very cold weather and seen adequate gas burners heaters arrangements for all guests...

Freezing room, not heated prior to arrival. It took 2 hours for our room to warm up so that the kids didn't freeze. The hot water went out and had to be fixed. Desk clerk wanted to charge us an extra 10 percent for using my credit card. Breakfast was not good and hotel needs major renovation.

Al Anbat hotel is located on the upper slopes of Wadi Musa, the town just at the gate of the world heritage site Petra. Once you're on the road into town coming from the north you cannot fathomably miss it. The drive to the actual entrance of Petra takes only about five minutes and with the hotel located at the...

Disclaimer: I havent stayed anywhere else in petra but this place is pretty cold in the winter. Our friend's room was much warmer. This hotel doesnt have much insulation and the heater was slow to work. The floors were like an ice rink in our room. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay. Nice view, hamam is decent, nice owner and staff,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What began as a name for the masters of the caravans more than 2000 years ago has grown into one of the best and most provisional hotel investments in Petra Region. "Alanbat" is the Arabic name of the Nabataeans, the people who carved Petra, early CBC. Settled in southern Jordan 500 BC, they were expert in water planning & carving. Alanbat Hotels Company was founded in the early 80s by Raja O. Alnawafleh and Brothers. As young men we developed a big area and a small building for a campsite and a hotel. We were the first family of local people of Wadi Mousa Town to invest in hotels company and services. We as hotel management have got more than 30 years of experience. Services start with average capacity of 20 poxes; nowadays we have three hotels: Alanbat I (our main location), Alanbat II and Alanbat III. All the new services have been done on our main location to make your visit to Petra and your stay at our hotels amazing and pleasurable. Alanbat hotels can provide you with experienced assistance in getting the most out of your visit to Petra. Our staffs are ready to help you in the soul of Jordanian hospitality. ... more   less
