My husband and I stayed here on vacation. The wifi was fast, the rooms were perfect, and there was a delicious restaurant next door where we could get a discount for staying at the hotel. The staff accommodated our request for a certain room and for an early-morning checkout. The central location was also helpful to exploring the area.

This hotel is up the hill from the Petra entrance and is very clean. As other guests have said, the hot water works great. The staff are warm and welcoming and happy to tell you about the state of affairs in Jordan. The wifi and TV, however, were not working well when I was there. I could only get a...

We had a lovely 3 night stay. Everything was comfortable, room was clean and with a new bathroom. The room was a good size and very quiet. We also could help ourselves to free tea and coffee in the lounge, which was brilliant. Everyone was very friendly, Laith at reception was very helpful and kind. Location is good, about 15...

It was lovely. The hot water only took minutes to heat up, and once it did, it lasted for quite a while. The breakfast room was a little chilly, but we had gotten up very early to eat. If we had waited until a normal time, it probably would have been much warmer!

The place was a bit more "economical" and bare boned then I expected. It also tended to be on the colder side. The heat was working but it always seem to stay cold for some reason. I was thinking about going somewhere else but Laith at the front desk was SOOOOOOO helpful and friendly, how could I leave. He organized...

Good location, about 1.5 miles from the Petra entrance (dowwnhill, easy to walk but we took a taxi back for the uphill walk). Staff was friendly, .we were able to park right out in front, a number of good restaurants very nearby. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and generous - eggs, yogurt, flatbread, hummus, coffee, tea, olives....

We picked Al Rashid as it was the #1 on TA and the price was more than reasonable. We knew it was a budget hotel going into it, but it's a little more basic than we were expecting. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable enough but it was very dated and worn. There was a phone in the...

We were a family of 2, travelling around Jordan for 5 days. We had a twin room and also a triple. The rooms were perfect for our needs, warm and heated, with our own private bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Most importantly we were about a 15 minute walk to the gates of Petra. I would recommend a...
