Really nice hotel with friendly staff, didn't know what to expect as this hotel was booked for us as part of a package to Petra. We also went to the steam room , turkish bath and massage which was great and excellent value.

We went to Petra during low season and I think there were only around five more people staying at the time, so the hotel was calm. We extended our stay from one to three nights and we wanted to explore Petra properly (and I feel like four days wasn't even enough!). It was lovely to come back to a clean...

It was easy to find in our rental car. The welcome and service was excellent. In the morning we drove to the main entrance of Petra (only a couple of minutes away, but it saved us a big walk uphill at the end of the day). The breakfast was substantial, and the rooms very comfortable (OK, the water pressure wasn't...

We (party of 6 people, 2 50;s 4 20 year olds) stayed 2 nights in April 2012. We have a number of reservations about this hotel 1. Location, the local area is in our view unsafe. the evidence is that we saw and heard 2 loud arguments between small groups of young men outside the hotel. The first argument was...

The staff is very professional and the receptionist Mohammed helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the terrasse...

I stayed in Amra Place hotel in July 2011. It is a great familly owned hotel where eery body does it's best to make you fell at home. They are very kind, hospitable and helpful and their prices are resonable. With my friend we had a room in the third floor with a great view of the valley. I made...

Living in Amman, we've gone to Petra a number of times with friends/family who come to visit and we've usually stayed at the overpriced Moevenpick or Crowne Plaza. This time we tried the Amra and were AMAZED at the value, and the friendliness of the front desk. The location is a bit further up the hill, but taxis are cheap...

Since Petra is a place one should visit at least once in a lifetime, i decided to spend there more than just a quick "in and out" visit, to get to know that sacred world wonder better. Amra Palace and hotel stuff made my 3 day stay in Petra wonderful. Room I stayed in was very cosy and clean, with...
