We had the great fortune of finishing off a Robin Pope safari at Pumulani Lodge. We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed staying there. We were given the honeymoon suite as a treat to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The room was stunning in every respect. An absolute treat - spacious and spotlessly clean, with the most incredible bathroom!...

First of all, the place is very nice no doubt about it. The rooms are extremely spacious and nicely decorated. However, there were a couple of drawbacks during out stay mainly repeating invasion of huge cockroaches in the bathroom!! Furthermore, the lodge was completely full during our stay resulting in an overcrowding around the pool where 8 sun beds for...

The staff where really great. We chartered a flight from Lilongwe, the met and did the transferres etc. It is very small, and very well catered for, if you are looking for your own private oasis. I have recommended others stay, and they have enjoyed it just as much. The only small down side, is the food is only average,...

Taking our kids to Africa was an amazing experience for us all. Pululami is an incredible place to stay as a family or a couple. The food was excellent. The accommodation was great with beatiful views. The snorkelling was sensational with crystal clear water in the lake. A special thanks to Cristelle, Josh and their fabulous staff that made our...

We spent 4 nights here winding down after two weeks safari. What a fantastic location and a room to die for. We were well looked after and food was great and beer was free thought I had gone to heaven. We went snorkelling this is superb and saw the fish eagle coming for food. They also have a state of...

We stayed 4 nights in August 2016 also with my mother in law. The location of the lodge up in its own private space above Lake Malawi is simply stunning. The villas are superb, decorated in great taste and very spacious with quality furniture and fittings. Above all, the service and attentive staff are top class - they could not...

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The bungalows are amazing - very elegant and tastefully designed. The location is faultless - perched on a hillside with its own private beach. The facilities are great too - very five star, except in a way that is subtle, which adds to the sense of luxury. Finally...

Pumulani is beautifully situated overlooking Lake Malawi on the Nankumba Peninsula within Lake Malawi National Park. The accommodations are amazing; ours and I think most had three large rooms (living room, bath room, bedroom), and two large decks, all with beautiful floor-to-ceiling views of the lake and surrounding hillside and woodland. Pumulani is run with friendliness, efficiency, and remarkable attention...

We stayed here for 3 nights after a busy safari in Zambia and it was perfect! We chilled out by the pool and the lake and sat on our balcony watching the wildlife go by - baboons, monkeys and a variety of beautiful birds including the extremely rare Pel's Fishing Owl! And to top it off, Josh our host gave...
