We stayed at Whale View Manor with my husband and two children during the Christmas period and fell in love with the place. It is at a quiet stretch off the coastal road with beautiful views of the ocean and directly across a small natural beach. Dominique and her staff have been very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was carefully prepared,...

The whale view is a nice quaint hotel. It's a little far from alot of things so if you want to be in the thick of things this would not be for you. Also if you want a big beach with tons of things to do something in actual Cape Town will be better.

We are extremely privileged to be situated on the most beautiful stretch of coastline in Simons Town, with the most spectacular views and so pleased to be able to share this with all our guests. Although we are not in the bustle of Cape Town our unique area offers plenty activites, with a short walk to Boulders Beach to view...

My wife and I spent over a week here recently and give it high marks. Dominique and her staff are terrific, the rooms are very both beautiful and comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. There's also easy access to good lunch and dinner restaurants in Simon's Town. My wife highly recommends the spa! The hotel itself is a little far...

Stayed here for one one night. The service was great, they was someone to meet me down at the parking and help with my luggage which was great considering all the stairs to my upstairs room. The beach view was really out of this world. The guest house has uninterrupted beach views, and very close to boulders beach and the...

This is a really lovely hotel, beautifully presented and decorated. Or room was very confortable with views overlooking the sea. Loved the lounge area with the 'honesty bar' - a self service section where you select and pour your own drinks from their fridge whilst listing what you had and your room number in a little book. The service was...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it. Pretty good location and a lovely little beach just across the road. When we booked we had the last available room which was very clean, nice big, comfortable bed but given the choice we would have preferred a bigger room at the front as they have the...

Stunning huge room and a great spot to base yourself for Cape point, Boulders Bay, Fish Hoek and the rest of the Cape Peninsular. Really comfy bed and lovely breakfast. Maybe we were there slightly out of season, but Simonstown itself is a little quiet on Sunday evenings, making evening meal options limited.
