The camp itself is lovely, the staff is very friendly - that's been described amply and all I can say is that I agree with the positive comments... but what sets the Gorilla Camp apart is the phenomenal amount of information and assistance provided by Robert. We had a last-minute trip, but he organized our gorilla permits, gave us better...

Based on the lack of Uganda tourism ads in the US, I thought I had to fly to Rwanda track gorillas there and then go to Uganda to track chimps. But was I SO wrong. Not only are permits cheaper in Uganda by $250USD, but the people alone could be the selling point of this country. And the gorilla camp...

The setting is of course beautiful, and the staff was excellent. Robert gave us lots of advice before arriving and was very helpful with some problems we had with securing out gorilla permits. The food was very good, some of the better food I have had in the region. The rooms and all of the facilities were in great condition,...

We contacted Robert to book a 4-day stay at Nkuringo Gorilla Camp, and were amazed by the amount of information and help we received from him while planning our self-drive holiday in Uganda, organising Ilias to meet us at the airport to show us our way, as well as organising our gorilla permits for us etc. Our 4 night stay...

Three of us have just recently returned from a brilliant and flawless 17 day birding centric trip to Uganda. Robert from Nkuringo Walking Safaris and Nkuringo Gorilla Camp did an amazing job of planning our itinerary and carefully making all of our arrangements. Our guide Asigario and driver/guide David (renamed "Big D" by us!) were fantastic in every way! Both...

Only the best people work here! I can't say enough good things about this place and people who work here! It's one of the best camps that I stayed in around Africa! Robert, the owner, helped me very much, by emailing me all information about Uganda, how to get to the camp and answered all of my questions! Lydia is...

My partner and I stayed at the Nkuringo Gorilla camp for two wonderful nights for pre and post Gorilla tracking. The owner, Robert and his team made us feel very welcome. The camp is very clean and comfortable with modern facilities. Our stay included our meals and packed lunch, all of which went down a treat. The camp is a...

Nkuringo Gorilla Camp is a lovely spot with amazing views and staff who really do go the extra 10 miles. i stayed for one night in the luxury camping, which was lovely, with a comfy bed, lots of space and a hot water bottle put in there at nightime. A lot of attention to detail has gone into the camp,...

As soon as I contacted Robert and heard back from him, I knew that we would end up going with Nkuringo walking safaris. He helped plan out our whole trip in Uganda, parts of it which we would not even be doing with him. He floated so many different options for us - in relation to transport, costs, activities, accommodation,...
