We had a nice stay here while visiting the Gorilla's. We where lucky due to low season we got upgraded to a tent. It was very comfortable. Everything is damp but that's due to the rain forest. I do not recommend the food. My two other co travelers both got sick of it I luckily didn't.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for the gorilla tracking experience. The hotel is situated overlooking the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is really spectacular, and all the rooms are nestled into the jungle below the main common area. It can be a little dark climbing all the steps down to the rooms at night, so bring a... More

The place is the cheapest you can get in this high priced area, and you get what you pay for. Tents are fine although a bit musty smelling, beds are fine, shower is hot. Food is ok, staff is friendly, view is nice. Nothing to complain about. We had a nice stay and would go again.

We stayed at The Buhoma Community Rest Camp while we were in Bwindi for gorilla trekking. No this place is not a 5 star hotel, but it is fantastic. The tents are placed with a view of the forrest and it is private. The personal was really friendly and the food was great. In general, I recommend Uganda. The people... More

We were with Buhoma while trekking for gorillas in Bwindi. The place is great, the staff is very friendly, the food is great and the permanent tents that you sleep in are great. The packed lunch that you get for the trek is very good. I very much recommend this place.

The tent with ensuite bathroom was very comfortable. Plenty of hot water which after a few hours slogging up and down mountains watching gorillas is really, really nice. The food was very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Knowing the support it gives the community makes it extra special . A quick 3 minute walk to where... More

We stayed in a tented room, with a more permanent ensuite bathroom at the back - it was rustic but had a very good shower and lots of room. Our tent (Bush Baby) was one of the closest to the communal area, but was down a step path - it had a verandah that looked out over the gully and... More

Not a bug in my tent-room and great hot shower! They had wake-up service with breakfast, coffee and room service for any meal. The staff was so friendly. I'm thrilled with my 2 nt stay there! Would love to return some day!

I just recently did a tour with Africa Arrivals Safaris for 5 nights/6 days and I stayed at Bohoma rest camp for 2 nights. Edith from Africa Arrivals organised a guide/driver for me and everything went smoothly and I highly recommend them because of their professionalism, organisation and value for money. Customer service - from the beginning to the end... More

Comfy simple lodge just inside park gates. Ideal for Buhoma gorilla treks. Location is superb with beautiful view of the forest. Accommodation is very basic. We had an ensuite Banda which also seemed to be home to a few creepy crawlies!! All part of the fun and adventure. Food was basic but delicious and staff were very friendly
