Great meals, great service and great location. We were just a five minute drive from the park entrance. The food was good. There is a small menu, but we enjoyed what we had. They have a turn down service which ensures that the mosquito nets are properly set up. The electricity and wifi are sporadic, but the views make up...

I stayed at the Silverback Lodge for 2 nights to go gorilla trekking. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, although I may have been the only guest at the time. The atmosphere is relaxed and serene with a nice porch and beautiful views of the forest and lodge gardens. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds, mosquito nets, a...

The lodge common areas are really nice, good food in the restaurant, and you can sit out the front and have a cup of tea, or browse the free WiFi The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and with mosquito nets.

We stayed two nights at the Silverback Lodge and had a very nice stay. The Silverback Lodge is very well located for the Gorilla Trekking starting point. The view is stunning, the staff is very accomodating and the orphan children is there in the evening to entertain you, which was such a heart warming experience.

My third visit to the lodge with a friend for gorilla tracking and what can I say, excellent location overlooking the mountains, tasty food, wifi in the reception, hot showers, and a cozy stay. I just feel like coming back again and again. The orphan children from the local community entertain with their skills in the evening and its heart...

We stayed at Silverback as part of a tour to visit the gorillas, choosing the "mid-price" option. We thought the lodge was very nice. The room was a bit dated for sure, but had a lovely verandah looking directly over the valley to the impenetrable forest itself. The large lobby area verandah was also a lovely place to sit with...

The staff made us feel really welcome and the food was certainly the best we had during our trip around Uganda. We felt that there was a genuine care about their work. Of course, we were all there to trek up into the forest to see the gorillas, and we were able to relax after those amazing experiences, looking back...
