From the moment we touched down at Kihihi airstrip and met our driver Dominic the level of care and attention provided by the team at Mahogany springs was second to none. The setting of the camp is idyllic and the rooms luxurious, yet still in keeping with the surrounding valley – making you feel always like a welcome guest, not...

From arrival drinks and welcome to hugs and good-byes; this was the most delightful "home away from home for our crew of 7. The staff was always at your beckoned call, the food delicious and the view was warm and refreshing. We were escorted to a room of adventure and romance and loved watching the monkeys play from our balcony...

We just returned from 3 days at Mahogany Springs and cannot say enough good things about the experience. From Jotham, the general manager, to Abraham and Amon, our daily lead contacts, everyone at Mahogany Springs was warm and welcoming. Our hut was spacious, clean and comfortable. After each of our two gorilla treks the staff thoroughly cleaned our boots and...

Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. Great cottages with all the amenities. A wonderful deck with sweeping views, all within walking distance of Bwindi. The chef will send you off trekking with a delicious box lunch. 5 star African Hospitality.

We stayed here for 3 nights while trekking out of Buhoma. This was our favorite lodging on our trip. The rooms were open and comfortable. We always had a hot water and electricity in the room. To be picky, we had 2 queen size beds but would have preferred one king bed...I'm not sure the bed layout of other rooms....

The lodge has an unprepossessing entrance and is a beautifully sited overlooking the gorge. The well built lodge has maybe 8 or so spacious separate solid ensuite bungalows all with lovely views and sitting terraces looking across the valley's steep hillsides and gorge. They are spacious, comfortable, have good privacy and very quiet. This is the nicest and best lodging...

Part of my recent stay was as part of a small group and part of it was solo. I came to Bwindi to participate in two gorilla treks. This lodge is very close to the trek starting point, as well as to several other attractions - the Batya village, Ride for a Woman project and local shops. My room and...

We loved our stay at Mahogany Springs! Hot water was temperamental as with most places we stayed around Uganda's National parks. But, that is my only (and a very minor) complaint. The food was delicious with options varying from lamb and steaks to local fish and matoke. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Also, Mahogany Springs seemed very tied...

I spent (3) nights at the Mahogany Springs Lodge September 2014 and loved every minute of my stay. In fact I loved it so much I am going back September 2017 for a (4) night stay only this time I will be taking a group with me. The owner Barrie from the UK is fantastic to deal with and Jotham...
