This is Dharamshala near the bus stop. We stayed here because you get a better view of the mighty Dhauladhar snow caps from here than in McLeod. Top floor deluxe rooms and Kangra Suites have a view of the valley. A couple of basic rooms look towards the Dhauladhar though you also see the busy town. Others, you can pass...

We were a family of three that included two senior citizens that wanted to do a short 2 day trip to Dharamshala. While a lot of travellers advised McLeog Ganj, I would recommend a stay in Dharamshala which is a lower level. Why? Simply because the terrain is better and some hotels are really Hotels. Those in McLeod Ganj happen...

Very convieniently located yet away from the main bazar road, thus making it very easy to walk out and reach any convieniences you may need. Romm is good and adequately furnished and the services is good too. Restaurent attached makes it good for having your food especially if you come in feeling tired after a your excursion to various sightseeing trips, locally.
