Shanthi guesthouse is located on a farm and is a perfect place to unwind on a weekend. We stayed in room number 32, opening directly to the paddy fields. They have a nice cafe and the breakfast was sumptuous and tasty. The staff are helpful and we got our bike for hire at shanti itself. Only con i can think...

Ok so if you are a nature lover and are ready to cut out the outside world for a day or two this place is an absolute bliss. Once u reach hospet take a rickshaw from the station. They'll charge you Rs 150 for the 20 minutes ride. Pretty decent. You might have to bargain. Since i'm a Mangalorean i...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 cottages overlooking the paddy fields, you could take a short walk down to the river and get great views back across the river to the main centre of Hampi and some of the monuments. Shanti GH is in a small village consisting of 1 long street of accommodation and restaurants, a...

The place is gorgeous and you must try to book yourselves in room no. 33! Lovely view of the rice fields and if you are a dog lives you will have a herd welcoming you everytime you enter the room. Good place to give a shot for sure!

Beautiful place, not too expensive. Gives the feeling of staying in a village. Good crowd, nice ambience. Food was good as well. One will get plenty of options, especially European cuisine are really good. Only thing missing is river side.

I was very satisfied with our stay here. No frills, but price was reasonable and there are some really nice things here. I enjoyed the swings on the porches and the rice paddy adjacent to our hut and the nature that goes along with it. Food was acceptable if you don't look too hard at the kitchen. I enjoyed it...

Shanthi guest house is my favorite place to stay on other side of the river. i.e. The Hippie side. If you are a non fussy traveler who loves being close to nature and enjoy a laid back, relaxing holiday, this is the place to be. In fact, I found this to be the best one on this side of the...

We stayed here as part of a tour and really wished that anywhere else had been available. We had brown water in the taps, a toilet that would not flush and holes in the mattress. As if this was not enough, the power went off at night leaving us to cook in our own juices. Mosquito nets kept collapsing and...

The place being Located on the other side of the river makes it a little tricky to access. But it compensates the extra mile we had to take with some simple and elegant cottages with a spectacular view of the green paddy fields. The food may not be wonderful with very limited options available. The epic piece of the resort...
