After one night somewhere else on the road with all the guesthouses, I moved to this beautiful spot. I stayed in a 300 r dorm, basic as you can expect, but great with a hammock in front of the bungalow. The huts are a little more expensive but beautiful. The food is great, especially with the view!

This is my first trip to HAMPI and the hotel room at Shanthi Guest House (Room#35) was spacious, clean and with basic amenities - No TV, Telephone or Air Conditioning. We don't really need Air-conditioning during NOV to FEB. Amazing view of the Paddy fields and you can spend your days lazing on the swing outside. Lots of Mosquitoes as...

Nice views over rice fields to river, and not too far from river crossing to Hampi. Rooms were clean but basic. Mosquito net had a few holes, so not highly effective, but there weren't too many mozzies when we were there. Mattresses were hard as a rock - not so comfortable.

There is so much we loved about this place. The room we had was great, lots of space, mosi net, clean, hot water, cool little front porch with swinging bed over looking the rice fields. The staff were super friendly. The dining area was awesome, a great place to eat really nice, clean, cheap food or drink or just hang...

A very quiet clean and value for money place. Our experience was really good at Shanthi Guest House, we had gone for the New years eve and what an experience it was ! The staff is extremely courteous, especially Mr.Gitanand and Mr. Krishna, the owner. The booking process was also extremely transparent and smooth. The restaurant and the attached verandah...

Great view and ambiance. Rooms need some cleaning and brighter lights inside for families with kids to like it more. Being close to the farm gets a lot of mosquitoes in the evening and early morning. They do provide mosquito coils and screen, but, go with some repellant creams if you have small kids. Restaurant has a wide choice in...

Our cottage at Shanthi was clean, cozy, and quiet (except for one night when a group of 20-somethings hung out on the neighboring porch laughing into the wee-hours). The view over the rice fields cannot be beat, so spring for one of those cottages if you can. The bug net on the bed worked well, and the free (actual factual...

The guest house is as close as it gets to serene village experience. The swings outside the rooms overlooking the paddy fields are so inviting that you could spend hours on them i.e. if you are the lazy kind. The is enough and more to do at Hampi if you are active. The guest house is clean and minimalistic. The...

We stayed at Shanthi for eight days, and it was a delight. This guest house has fantastic views from the higher priced huts, which if you can afford is a real treat. We stayed in hut 19, situated back in the garden area without the views, but was perfectly fine. The circular huts are large and comfortable, with mosquito nets...

We stayed at Shanthi Guest House on 25th November 2013 for one night. Our family of four had two rooms (Room No 33 and 34). Stay was comfortable, food was good and service cordial. Rooms have basic amenities but at a place like Hampi you do not require anything more, since the main attraction is the Hampi site. Moreover, since...
