This is on the highway, on the road to bhimbetka. they restaurant & three rooms for stay. They serve hot food with smile, efficient staff & clean. But you can not stay for a night because it is just adjacent the railway track, railway track is on busy route, so whole night you will hear shrill sound of engine horn.

We stopped here for lunch on the way back after visiting Bhimbetka Rock Shelters. A quaint little restaurant with menu written on the blackboard on one of the walls. Tasty food and overall the service was pretty good.

This is a MPDTC run small hotel meant for travellers wanting to stay over when visiting the world heritage site of Bhimbetka. The rock shelters of Bhimbetka are only a couple of kilometres away from this hotel. Since its located adjacent to the railway tracks, spending the night can prove difficult with the trains passing by regularly here. Electricity outage...

The Highway Treat is a convenient place to stay overnight if one wants to spend a lot of time at the World Heritahe site of Bhimbetka Rock shelters. It is located about 2 km away from Bhimbetka rock shelters that's located in he Ratapani wildlife sanctuary. So one can stay overnight if planning to visit the site over two days....

Place is built beautiful, but as it is adjoining railway track, it is nice to stay but you may have sleepless night due to trains passing every 20 mins from the track. It has advantage that food is good and is very near to the bhimbetka caves.

We recently visited Bhimbetka, the World Heritage Site with large number of huge rock shelters. The Caves Site does not have any facility for snacks or meal. As such, chose the Highway Treat restaurant for lunch,in absence of other options.Food was average to good with not many options. However, the place is clean and hygienic It would be a good idea to consider providing...

A Railway platform/station converted to hotel, one will encounter sleepless nights due to the sounds and vibrations of the passing trains from any of the rooms. Frequent power-cuts, electricity available only for 8 hrs. a day, AC doesn't work with backup inverters and from 9:00 PM till morning no electricity or inverters, means No lights/fan/AC. After spending a sleepless night...

Good menu and decent food--- very fast service. Good bathrooms. Nice murals and signage about BHimbetka--- we really enjoyed reading this info. Really convenient location and services for the rock paintings. But it's right next to railroad tracks-- with regular trains.

1. We visited the Satpura National Park (SNP) in Madhya Pradesh between 7th to 9th Jun 2015 2. We went to Bhopal by train and took a taxi to Madhai (the entry point for SNP). On the way to Madhai, we visited the Bhimbetka Rock Shelters. Bhimbetka is about 50 Kms from Bhopal. We stopped over at Hotel Highway Treat...

Chose this hotel because of proximity to rock shelters. On arrival, I came to know that rooms are next to railway tracks. I should have checked other reviews !. One can not sleep at night as this rail route is very busy and sounds can be heard right in the bedroom. You can sleep better in AC coach of railway...
