A true Greek haven. The maids kept our accommodation spotlessly clean with clean towels daily and bed linen changed every 2 days. The bed was sheer bliss, so unlike the more usual hard Greek bed, there was even a choice of pillows.

Hi, its not close. You have two options. Both are mountainous. (a) you travel via Sparta and you climb up Taygetos mountain (scenic route) you reach Kalamata and then after 40minutes circa you reach Kardamyli. (b) you take the southern route via Gytheion - Areopolis where you turn north towards Kardamili.
Start early, its a long drive, both are scenic.
