We just came home after spending eleven days at our "home" , Aetoma Hotel, in Naufplion. This boutique hotel is beautifully updated and decorated. The hospitality provided by Akis, and gentle Panagiota, is second to none. They provided excellent information and special care - from helping us with our sightseeing, phone calls, little "treats" to take in our car with...

Welcoming and knowledgeable staff; delicious, varied and bountiful breakfasts; tastefully decorated, very well maintained, clean, and spacious rooms; perfectly located - you wont be disappointed! We were a couple with an 8 year old boy. My son was lavished with positive attention by the staff, and had great fun following the cats around and watching everyday life from our balcony....

I found this hotel through tripadvisor and can thoroughly endorse the reviews below. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for Akis and his mother who incidentally was born in one of the rooms here. After 170 years in the same family it must have been hard for her to open it up to strangers....

Hotel Aetoma - run by mother and son - is a place of home, of atmosphere, of great views and home made cooking. The building/hotel has been owned by the family for more than 170 years, and atmosphere and history oozes out of every step, every brick and from the two gentle and sweet people running the place.

A welcoming reception at this lovely hotel. The decor was beautiful and the hotel was recently refurbished so felt fresh and airy. The room itself was spacious and done up tastefully. We had a balcony with a cute view of one of the alleys in nauplio. It was in an excellent location in the old town and great value for...

We have just returned from our second visit to the Aetoma hotel. Once again a pleasure to return. The owners of the hotel were very welcoming and glad to see us return and nothing was too much trouble with the offer of drinks on our arrival. The breakfast was again unbelievable with the breakfast consisting of various types of bread,...

Aetoma Hotel has been exactly what we dreamt it would be! I spent two nights there with my boyfriend and we really felt like home. The room was cosy, very clean, and we had a great view of the old town of Nafplio. A perfect place for romantics, conveniently located in the town centre, but really quiet, too. We would definitely...

I was very pleased with the Aetoma Hotel. The rooms were clean, well kept and roomy for European standards. The location is centrally located so it is easy to get around. The owner is fabulous and really goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is awesome. I travel quite often for business and would not...

We spent two days at the Aetoma hotel, apart from Nafplion being a beautiful town it was the hotel that really made our stay. This boutique hotel has just five rooms. We stayed in one of the rooms at the rear of the hotel, our room and balcony was with a view of the old town of Nafplion which was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Nafplion, a city of magical breeze and unique history, a revamped mansion of the 18th century combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of the present and creates the ideal environment for relaxation and exceptional holidays. The neoclassical luxury appears in each of the 5 hospitable rooms, one of which seems like it slipped silently and took its place in the loft.
