Lovely hotel, very welcoming, delicious food, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room. It's a short walk into Kobarid plenty of walks around and locally run trips, we were with Exodus, excellently run trips.

Lovely hotel with good food that was was fresh and local and simple, the host was excellent and wiling to tell you all about the area. The rooms were cleaned every day. Good powerful and hot shower. Beds were comfortable and double beds had two individual covers on them. Each guest has 4 towels which is helpful. Just 1 mile...

Very nice rooms and a fantastic host. Nice food aswell. You can walk 800 m and swim in a freezing cold river with clear fresh water. Perfect place to spend a few days, a week or a lifetime. Highly recommended and I will definitely come back!

Stayed as part of an Exodus multi-activity trip (also excellent). You could have a minor whinge about the fairly busy road out front, but it's not exactly the M1. You could have a minor whinge about the nearest town (Kobarid) being a 25 minute walk. But what you really want in a hotel is cleanliness, and service, and this has...

We were traveling through the area on motorcycles and began looking for a place to stay for the night. What luck!! Host, Roman, at Father's place, was one of the friendliest locals we meet on the entire trip. In fact we made it a point to stop again on our return trip. Both nights we enjoyed a wonderful meal at...

Stayed here as part of an activity week with Exodus. Clean good sized accommodation, comfortable beds, excellent food, the owner going out of his way to make the stay as smooth as possible. Location 1 km from the town centre easily reached along the wonderful river path or along the main road. Pick a room at the back as the...

The Jazbec (Slovenian for badger) is a fairly basic hotel without air conditioning. It represents extremely good value for money. The place is very clean and in excellent decorative order. Good shower and comfy bed. My room (room 5) had a double and one single bed. A spacious room at the rear. Nice and quiet facing away from the road....

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for three nights as part of an organised week long trip, wish we could have stayed here the whole time, we were genuinely sad to leave. My only complaint, which is not really a fault with the hotel, is that it is by a fairly busy road and a church, so was a...

My friend and I stayed here for a week as part of an organised activity week, so the accommodation was pre selected as part of that package. Despite not having specifically chosen to stay here, it was a lovely stay from start to finish. From the warm greeting on arrival, it was the owner and staff that made this place....

the restaurant is located few meters out of kobarid center, on a route very used by bikers. offers typical local food (try the mushrooms soupe!) and is one of my preferred stops when driving on the route from nova gorica to bovec.
