Our second visit to the tranquility that is Vall de Pollenca, yes a rocky drive fit for a mountain bike not road bike, but nevertheless that's the worst bit and it's nothing really in the whole scheme of things. Fantastic building and gardens, so quiet, the managers Xavi and Maria were very helpful, but not there in the mornings we stayed...

My boyfriend and I stayed for a week at the Vall de Pollensa and didn't want to leave! It's a beautifully restored finca with a lovely pool, plenty of areas to sit outside and a woodland walk to explore. Our room (7) was spacious, very comfortable and clean and we slept brilliantly as it's so quiet there. Maria and Xavi...

This is a really relaxing & rejuvenating holiday location. Run superbly by Maria & Xavi, who cannot do enough to ensure your time with them is wonderful. The breakfast & dinner are delicious & lovelingly prepared by Maria or Joanna. We had a wonderful 7 day stay, once we accepted the rather rough track access road leading to the converted...

We have just spent the 3rd week of our stay in Mallorca at Val de Pollensa. We wish we had longer. There is a wonderful friendly atmosphere mainly due to hosts Maria and Xavie. We felt more like house guests than hotel guests. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is beautiful, full of traditional Mallorcan furniture, and artefacts. The...

This is a tricky one to write, but just goes to show how important the initial welcome is in unalterably colouring your views on a place… Firstly, the building is beautiful, in a serene setting with gorgeous views and plenty of places to relax. The rooms are fine – more on these later though. You get to the hotel by...

We stayed at the Vall de Pollensa for 3 nights earlier this month. We arrived by car and missed the turn off for the hotel in the first instance - the sign is quite small and appears to point into the bushes! On the second attempt we found the 'road' (more like a dirt track) which was very bumpy and...

Fabulous weekend spent in this very charming and romantic hotel, exactly what we wanted, somewhere special and unique located only 10 minutes away from the Pollenca beaches a bit too crowded in July for us, so we chilled by the swimming pool. Our room had an amazing view over the valley, the bed was large and very comfy. Very pleased,...

The owner is fabulous. However the rooms are very mediocre. Beds were singles, pushed together. Rooms should be updated with fresher towels, water bottles in room, Kleenex. Everything was very minimalistic. The driveway in is in desperate need of repair. It is a quiet spot, but would prefer to stay closer to Pollenca which is a beautiful town. I would...

This was a great choice for us-- just 5-10 minutes by car to Pollença (and you can get a 10 euro taxi if you need), and in such a peaceful location. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, and the proprietor was one of the friendliest that we've ever met. Breakfast was plentiful and served on the pretty terrace. Sunrise in the...
