Travellers' Choice
El Guia is a small hotel with restaurant located in the center of Soller, next to the train station, and very close to the main square. With a long history (since 1925), it is one of the oldest establishments in Mallorca. Its physiognomy retains all the character and charm of the most traditional architecture of the island. Although without large facilities, it offers the visitor the possibility of staying in a genuine hotel, very Mallorcan, and especially careful in all its aspects. Because of all this, it is a very welcoming place. It has 24 double rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning, most of them with beautiful views of the Serra de Tramuntana. Worth noting, the hotel restaurant. Recommended and recognized already by grandparents, children and grandchildren. Classic cut, simple, elaborately prepared cuisine with native ingredients. It is mentioned in many publications, including the Michelin Guide. The location is ideal for hiking enthusiasts. The valley of Soller and its surroundings is privileged place for the beauty of its places, by the way, recently declared by the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This is a fab little hotel,it’s tucked away but is right next to the Ferrocarril de Sóller. The rooms are very traditional with modern bathrooms and everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of everything with plenty refills of fresh coffee. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for one night in September 2021. Great room in the roof with characterful old wooden beams. Super friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and fantastic location right in Soller, a very short walk from the train to Palma and the tram to Port de Soller.
