I’d like to thank all wonderful English Inn staffs for their great hospitality. My wife and I really enjoyed staying in this Hotel. They made our every day that we were in beautiful Victoria. There is no doubt that the beautiful English Inn would be my first choice in my next visit of Victoria.

This is the second time staying at the hotel. First, my downside. There is no onsite staff over night, after ten pm so when problems arise in the middle of the night, you have to call the manager who lives in another house on the property. That being said though, the property, the rooms and the service is superb! So...

This is a REALLY beautiful hotel, and the price we paid was fantastic, given that we were a five minute drive from downtown Victoria. One needs to understand before going here that this is NOT a chain hotel, it's over 100 years old and is bound to have some quirkiness. We stayed on the third floor and there is no...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of May, we booked the ensuite room thru Expedia at a very good rate for this area. The Quaint- The room was very nice with a king size bed (very comfortable), a huge storage area for suitcases etc. and a dresser. The bathroom was roomy and modern with a few old...

The English Inn, formerly Ye Old English Inn is a nice quiet Victoria experience. It is located outside of the inner harbour and downtown but its only a five to ten minute drive. The five acre property has beautiful gardens and is an ideal venue for a wedding or weekend away with friends. The rooms are decorated in period. We...

Selected the Inn for a "staycation" to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Charming room with lots of character and a balcony. The Inn has a beauriful licensed lounge with a...

My father was visiting from ontario so we came here for a couple of days. It's a gorgeous property in a very quiet neighbourhood. The staff is friendly, our room is nice even if its not the one we'd booked. They don't have much to eat here, just a few little pub snacks. The Internet in our room didn't work....

I have stayed in this Shakespearean period Inn 35 years ago and it was magical then and so romantic. You walk around the grounds and it is an experience that sets your mind into a relaxing mood and the interior has all the charm and elegance for a really wonderful stay. We enjoyed the morning breakfast each day and the...

I came here with my boyfriend for a mini vacation last weekend and it was fabulous. Immediately upon our arrival the staff was very helpful. Our room had a beautiful view and was exceptionally clean. The restaurant was the perfect setting for a romantice dinner, and the continental breakfast was an added bonus. I highly recommend this hotel! The service...

My wife and I stayed at the Inn based on the recommendation of a friend and came away believers! It is a beautiful building with a lot of rustic character yet still all the modern amenities. The scenery and gardens in the area are absolutely gorgeous and the location is convenient enough to Victoria but tucked away so there is...
