Stayed at this hotel for the first time on Friday 7th October 2016. Absolutely fantastic, warm welcome, perfect in every way and the impact of walking in the dining hall for the first time was a WOW factor.

One night hop in this wonderful spot. Gordon is a proper full on Master Chef...very respected and recepient of many awards. Check the foyer...it is littered. Food amazing and small lounge area helps guests mingle and meet pre and post food. It was our wedding anniversary after midnight and most of the guests stayed up to share a wine with... More

We stayed 2 nights at Creagan House in , a restaurant with 5 rooms. The rooms were cosy and pretty with Molton Brown toiletries. Cherry puts a flask of warm milk in our room each night... and the rooms were made fresh each day. We had dinner on our night of arrival. It was a most delicious meal prepared by... More

After spotting the Creagan House on the way to our accommodation up the road and looking at the website we thought we'd give it a try for an evening meal. We were not disappointed. Cherry met us at the door on the evening and showed us to the reception room where we were served pre-drinks and snacks whilst our food... More

We stayed at a host of great places in Scotland, but Creagan House topped the list. Hospitality was marvelous and the food served deserves all the accolades it has received and more. Absolutely charming place, and our one night visit here turned out to be a highlight of our trip.

The service and attention to detail is second to none. The owners really make you feel welcome. The food is well presented and very tasty with even some of it homegrown. If you're lucky you'll get to see the red squirrels in the garden.

I regret already that we only stayed for one night. We were welcomed with a nice pot of tea and home baked cookies by Cherry, the most charming lady of the house. Our dinner was really nice, and served in the beatiful dinner room in old setting. Everything matched! We finished with a great single malt in the lounge. The... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Creagan is a devil to define, but a delight to find! For an escape from life's fast lane and a real taste of Scotland, a visit to Creagan House is an experience never to be forgotten. This cosy farmhouse is only an hour from Edinburgh or Glasgow, but it feels like a million miles once inside, surrounded as it is by gorgeous highland scenery. An ideal base for a special occasion, whilst touring, or for a longer stay to explore the wealth of attractions and activities within easy reach. A renowned Restaurant with Rooms, where food is, without question, the heart of the house. It is country house cooking in the modern form, classically French based, using the best quality fresh, locally sourced produce whenever possible. Gordon and Cherry Gunn have owned, and continually improved this unique outpost of highland hospitality for 28 years and are proud of their many awards earned each year. These include 5 star Restaurant with Rooms Gold Award from VisitScotland and the AA. You can be assured of a warm and genuine welcome in this home away from home. ... more   less
