We spent the best part of a week here in the Cottage. It was an advantage having the brilliant weather but even without that the accommodation was superb. The cottage has been very tastefully furnished and decorated and is as close to the sea as you can get. You will never work up an appetite walking to the sea and...

We booked a lodge for a few days while exploring the west coast. Once at Lochinver, Karen (lodge owner) kindly showed us up to the lodges a couple of miles outside the village. An amazing setting in a quiet bay of the west coast with its own little island you can walk over to at low tide. The lodge itself...

What an amazing place to stay! - the lodges are situated in a peaceful bay with a little island which can be reached at low tide. We were very lucky with the weather and had beautiful sunsets and morning skies. We even saw a seal swimming near the island! The lodge itself was great, it was very well equipped and...

Great place to stay. Wonderfull place to view wildlife in close proximity to lots of walks. We thought that it would be more isolated coming from northern Canada but not so. All amenities so close and on site. Flowers were a nice touch. We need to buy a drying rack ! ( not found in Canada ) Jim and jocelyne

The lodge was excellent both in terms of its location (over looking a sea loch); the peace, but only a mile from Lochinver and its restaurants; quality of the bedrooms was like staying in a good hotel; sitting room//dinning area overlooking the loch, well appointed kitchen; bright and clean; good people that run it.

We recently revisited these holiday lodges just outside Lochinver. We first stayed there nearly 20 years ago and have returned from time to time, but this is the first stay for a while, and we were so happy to see that they were as good as ever. It's a lovely setting and the lodges are so comfortable and well equipped...

Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay in the Merganser chalet at Lochinver Holiday Lodges. The accommodation couldn't be faulted. It was warm, very comfortable and well equipped with quality crockery, crockery ,linen appliances. The views from the balcony are stunning and open to the sea and shores. It was idyllic to watch the wildlife and the sunsets. The owner...

My husband, 8 year old daughter and I have just spent a week at the Lodges. Beautiful setting and very well appointed accommodation. Couldn't have been better. We had a fantastic view of the loch and especially enjoyed the sunsets. Would highly recommend this for a break from the huddle and bustle of life.
