Visiting Plockton for one night to attend a wedding, and stayed in this little gem of a B&B. Very clean and warm. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the chat as all guests sat around the table. Definitely recommend. The venue is on the harbour road with fab views. Also close to pubs, restaurants and other local amenities.

Excellent stay, had dinner down the short street, wonderful stay on the water. We also were able to go to the west highland cheese maker about 10 miles away. Additionally, the morning walk on Iams Walk was excellent to start the morning. Overall great stay, the beds were more than adequate and shower, bath, toilet worked well for us.

Wifi didn't work and we missed an important message from home. Very scenic village but not much to do. One night stay and we saw everything. Very good for a day away. The b and b was very clean and the breakfast was great

Simply a lovely place. I stayed at while exploring Skye. My hosts Anna and John were a real pleasure to get to know... like staying with friends. Excellent accommodations and breakfast. The village of Plockton is very picturesque on a sheltered bay of Loch Carron surrounded by a ring of hills. I shall return.

We stayed only one night on our way to Skye. The hosts Anna and John were very nice. Our room was clean, and breakfast was excellent. Wifi worked great. John helped me plan our route for the following day. The spaces were a little tight, particularly the small bathroom. Our pillows were lumpy and the mattress was a little soft,...

The house is an attached terrace right on the water near the restaurants. The owners could not provide information about the local Laundromat, which was surprising since this is a tiny town with about 50 houses. We asked for an ensuite room but got a small room with a private bathroom down the hallway which had a sliding door that...

Here we fest as at home. The B&b is located in a very nice place with a wonderful view on the Lock. It is also an optimum basis to visit the Isle of Skye. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the owner Bob is willing to help for any need. Definitively, I strongly recommend it!

We stayed at An Caladh in the beautiful town of Plockton for 2 nights. We had the room at the top of the stairs with a great view of the sea and the palm trees. Everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy. Anna was a gracious host and her breakfasts were delicious. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This was our first visit to Plockton, our second stopping point on our travels around Scotland. We chose the very lovely little B&B ‘An Caladh’, which translates in Gaelic as, “the resting place on the shore” . . . and indeed it was just that. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Anna and Bob, who carried our...
