I have camped at many provincial parks throughout Ontario and this was my first time experiencing Algonquin. Algonquin is supposed to be like the Disneyland of camping well so I thought... This campsite is nice, it's small, the washrooms are really well kept however, it is right next to highway 60 (for those of you who don't know, that is...

I decided to book a last minute camping trip in the area of Algonquin park and chose tea lake campground. Everything would have been fine had I know that I would hear car passing by in the middle of the night since you are quite close to hwy 60. Also I headed to beach and my view was of a...

First time at Tea Lake and it was a pleasant surprise. i was at site 20 which was one of the most private sites. It is close to the beach and it was by the water. I could walk to the lake, step on a large rock and was fishing. There are showers and flush toilets and they do sell...

My experience would sugest that you go BEFORE Labor Day. We started out on Labor Day thinking we would miss the crowds, but encountered a huge "Boy Scout" troop, and then awoke to snow on the 2nd day out. Then it rained and we were miserable until we were able to

Great location, book early and you can be close to the lake or on higher ground if you prefer. I liked that it was so easy to access right off the highway and yet felt remote the minute you passed the office. As camp sites go I had no complaints, and I'll be back the next time through.

I recently stayed at this camp ground with my husband and our two boys ages 5 & 8. We had never been camp before but in the past have rented out a cottage so we were not used to roughing it but our experience was very good and this is a place we would return to in the future. If...

Very friendly staff, amazing views from our site (site 30, 29 and 28), washrooms/showers were very clean, no lineups, beach was clean & sandy, beautiful kayak paddle up to the portage store. Even saw a moose chomping on some catails. :)

We went very early in the season. Loved it. The site was the perfect size for our party of 5. We enjoyed a great paddle around the lake and also enjoyed how close the campground was to the Portage Store on canoe lake. I have stayed here a lot in my lifetime and I will continue to!

We camped at Tea Lake for the first time this summer and stayed for 2 days. We liked the comfort station and found it clean and we liked that it had lots of stalls/showers. It wasn't very busy and no line ups. The campground office is very tiny but the staff was very friendly. The beach is nice and sandy...

Ive spent the last three summers camping at Tea Lake. I go twice per summer and stay a min. of 5 nights per stay. I try to go during the week because the weekends are filled with noisier rowdy types. Tea Lake grounds management are super! Very friendly and helpful. But other campers are disappointingly LOUD, rude and disrespectful of...

“I recommend sites 28,29,30..little traffic at those ends as they are dead ends plus great lake view.”

“Go to the website and look at the pictures and note as well if provided the site space. We saw that our site 40 was quite large while next door to us site 38 was very tiny. You may need to book early to get a lakeside site. If you arrive and no staff at the office, check the comfort station (which is right there as well) as she is likely there cleaning.”
