We have stayed here for 2-4 day nights for at least 13 years now and we keep coming back because it is always a splendid experience. Cabins are very cosy, with comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities. We stayed in cabins with covered front porches which are wonderful to relax under, no matter the weather. The interiors are tastefully decorated... More

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner. Really enjoyed it. Ideal location, we used it as our base camp for exploring Algonquin, we did hikes every day. We needed to really to justify us eating all the delicious food supplied by the resort. The breakfast, lunch and dinners we enjoyed were top notch with a good variety and choice.... More

Simply stunning... Our cabin overlooked the lake and the view of the sunrise from our deck was amazing. The whole property was spotless and the staff were very friendly. The meals in the restaurant were very good quality and the service was fantastic. We had two chipmunks who visited regularly for their nuts which the lodge supply. They were great... More

Location and meticulous attention to housekeeping and maintenance are its chief attributes. Many good spots to sit, enjoy the natural beauty and the call of the loon.Nice lounge with coffee, tea and shortbread cookies available all day as are soft drinks, bottled water and bagged snacks in the paddle shop. Chalets are comfortably furnished with outside verandas. Great king bed and soft towels.... More

A peaceful, beautiful, cozy, and charming resort. My husband and I came for a quiet nature experience with modern comforts, and we were blown away by the wonderful staff, the atmosphere, ambiance, and amenities here. Cabins are very comfortable, immaculately cared for and warm. Food is sublime and very generous portions are served. They were also very accommodating of a... More

Cabin is quite nice better than expected. But noise did get through for some reason. I stayed in Blue Spruce before and didn't notice the noise may be it is further away from the highway and this time the cabin is right next to the highway. So if you go to sleep early get 1 off the highway. Sunrise is... More

Unless yours is a family with a traditional cottage handed down through many generations, in the heart of the Haliburton Highlands or Muskoka, and which has been immaculately maintained over the years, a stay here will be a completely unique experience, and quintessentially Ontario. The cottages are magnificent... perfectly clean, very comfortable, secluded, romantic. Food is very good, service crisp... More

My wife, our golden retriever, and I spent a couple of days here recently and generally enjoyed our stay. Our room was excellent, the meals were good, and the entire staff was friendly. Our one complaint is that this is not what I would called "dog friendly"; "dog tolerated" would be more to the point. If you want to wander... More

Staff is amazing - They really offer superb customer service! Cabins are cozy and very well maintained - Plus the distance between the cabins is great! Food is delicious! Then you add the view of the lake and the Algonquin park a bit further. You don't need anything else for a great stay!

We had dinner at the Lodge, and were given an enormously friendly welcome both when booking by phone and on arrival. The atmosphere of the log cabin lounge and the restaurant is great, and the table service staff were attentive. By contrast, with the exception of the dessert, the food was surprisingly ordinary. We enjoyed our evening all the same.
