Staff is amazing - They really offer superb customer service! Cabins are cozy and very well maintained - Plus the distance between the cabins is great! Food is delicious! Then you add the view of the lake and the Algonquin park a bit further. You don't need anything else for a great stay!

We had dinner at the Lodge, and were given an enormously friendly welcome both when booking by phone and on arrival. The atmosphere of the log cabin lounge and the restaurant is great, and the table service staff were attentive. By contrast, with the exception of the dessert, the food was surprisingly ordinary. We enjoyed our evening all the same.

We stayed at the Lodge in a Shoreline Cabin for two nights. Through-out the stay all staff were super-friendly and very helpful. Food is included in the room rate, and was of a high quality and there was lots of choice. You can also request a packed-lunch to take with you on walks. The cabin itself was spacious, clean and...

Oh my goodness, what a little slice of heaven this place is!!!! Beautiful part of the park - set on the side of the lake. Wonderful Log cabins with verandas overlooking the water. So cosy. Big room with big, comfortable beds; beautiful white sheets and plump pillows. There are no televisions or wi-fi in the cabins but hey, who wants...

Two Canadian grandparents and their 20 something grandson from overseas headed north from Toronto to show the young man "typical Canadian landscape". We had no idea how beautiful the site of this lodge is. Yes, it is very expensive, but the staff, comfort of accommodations, meals are spectacular. After a very busy family occasion where people came from many countries,...

Good of you to bring your grandson up north to show him the wilderness that so many overseas visitors imagine of Canada and want to see. It's amazing that only 3 1/2 hours north of Toronto you can find an area like Algonquin Park. That is why we have so many guests from the U.S. and overseas stay with us...

We were travelling with our Canadian friends, none of us had been to Algonquin before. We choose the lodge as it seemed so idyllic and that was what it was. From the moment we checked in, until the moment we left 4 days later, nothing was too much bother. We felt like members of their extended family. The cottage lodges...

Thank you for characterizing the lodge as idyllic and saying that as guests you felt like members of our extended family. We often like to say that our entire staff is like a big family. Most have worked here at least 10+ years, another core some 25+ years, and some even 30+ years. Theresa and Elaine in the kitchen have...

We went to Killarney Lodge on short notice for a quick get away after a busy summer and we were not disappointed. From the food, to the staff, to the accomodations everything was 5 star and beyond. Our cabin was close to highway 60 but the road noise was not a problem as someone previously complained about. The beach was...

Wow. Thank you for your rave review. Delighted to hear you say that everything was 5-star and that you were not disappointed with your visit! Thank you in particular for pointing out that, even though you were close, "road noise was not a problem." We do get the odd review commenting on noise ... but they are so unrepresentative of...

Our family had a wonderful stay. We had a great cabin on the point which was very private. There was so much delicious food we couldn't eat it all. The staff were great. The canoes they provide are top quality and lightweight. Nothing to complain about - even the weather was fantastic. Really hot all day and nice cool breeze...

We chose this lodge of great repute for the annual 36 hour summer vacation with my family of 5. We arrived with high expectations and knew immediately we had made the right choice. The only ripple was a chilly wave of disdain from my family as if to say "Why didn't you bring us here before?" We relaxed and felt...
