Killarney Lodge was built 80 years ago. They have renovated the log cabins continuously. It is landscaped naturally with very nice flowers and pines. It is in a private peninsula. It is all inclusive except Alcoholic beverages, they do not have license to serve. Please bring yours with you and enjoy tasty Killarney cuisine. The rates for high season are...

We traveled so far and spent well over $600 to experience a night in the remoteness and beauty of Algonquin, but instead we found ourselves facing directly onto a highway a mere 150 or 200 meters or so from our cabin. Although the large verandah had some beautiful trunks of trees in front of it, no matter how we shifted...

Thank you for your opinions about staying in one of our Shoreline cabins on "Beaver House Bay" for a night. We are mostly certainly NOT dishonest about these cabins. The map on both our website and printed materials shows that the highway is across the bay. The actual distance from your cabin to the road is in excess of 1000...

This was our first stay in this area. We saw 3 bears and 6 moose so we'd highly recommend the wildlife! The cabin we stayed in was beautiful, complete with a covered porch and it was very clean. The bed was too hard for our comfort but that's a personal preference. We were disappointed we didn't have a dock because...

Great hearing that you had such a successful visit ... 3 bears and 6 moose! There certainly have been more bears to be seen this summer. And of course moose are even more plentiful to be seen in the spring and fall. As far as seeing sunsets from your cabin, it's a common request when people book. Because of the...

We were very happy with our stay at Killarney Lodge. The staff are friendly, the cabins are well maintained and very clean, our bed was comfortable, and the food, service and ambience in the dining room were all spectacular. We went to unwind, and frankly my favourite part of the entire trip was the ability to sit on the covered...

Thank you for your very favourable review about staying in one of our cabins on the mainland right near the road. Your comments really represent how the vast majority of our guests feel about the road ... and any road noise. Hopefully they will allay the concerns that some prospective guests have after reading some of the "minority opinion" reviews....

This was our second trip to Killarney Lodge and we were pleased to find that this experience was just as good as the first time! Everything in the cabin (room and bathroom) was clean and exactly as it should be. They were cleaned daily and looked after very well, and with all of the sand and debris from walks on...

the cabin was hidden away behind some red and white pines, how romantic it was, the room floor to ceiling knotted pine, we had a dock at the end of the walk to the lake of two rivers, our own canoe, a spectacular view, i recommend it to all lovers of nature

I just got back from Killarney Lodge with my dog. We had gone up to hike and explore some of the park. I was so excited as it was my first time there. I am from northern Ontario so I never felt the need to see the park. I was wrong. What I did see was fantastic. Killarney Lodge unfortunately...

It was great to hear you say that what you saw of Algonquin Park was fantastic. Often as Ontarians we don't know what we have until we get out and explore. We get many international visitors here at the Lodge and the vast majority of them are absolutely captivated by the Park! Also thank you for saying that our cabins...

We first visited Killarney Lodge 25 years ago and loved it. It has changed very little but what has is an improvement. It offers an idyllic location, good wholesome food and very attentive staff. The cabins are spacious with lovely decks overlooking the lake. The surrounding countryside offers a variety of hiking trails and there are many lakes to explore...

It was great to have you back after 25 years ... and all the way from the UK :) Thank you for recognizing and appreciating what we try to do here. We love nothing more than when someone returns to the Lodge after a decade or two or more and says ... "it still feels the same!" Yes, we are...

The place is magic. The cabins are lovely and the art and appointments in the lodge and the rooms, and the lounge are all so perfect in keeping with the surroundings. I would like to start off by saying how nice the staff were at Killarney lodge. The lodge was for the most part well maintained and we loved the "classy/rustic" look and feel to it. For the most part the food was very good and service was excellent. The booking was easy and Eric was able to accommodate our wishes....

Thank you for your mostly very favourable review. We appreciate your complimentary comments about the staff, food and service. We're pleased to hear that you "really enjoyed the overall experience." That said, let us address some of your criticisms: With respect to any road noise, please see the review immediately prior to yours for the perspective of a six-time guest...
