In a place as Charming as Popayan you better find yourself a good Local Colonial house with Familiar atmosphere. You will get it all in this house. Good placed and very clean. I only wish the Popayan Municipal regulations will stop the horrible pollution in the city centre that definitely interrupt with the joy of your stay in this once...

It is hard to find anything to add to most of the positive reviews. But we were particularly impressed by the resourcefulness of señora Olga. Not only did she pick us up at the airport, but she was very helpfull to find the right medication for my flu (regular as well as herbal) and to organise a trip to Silvia...

La Casa de Mima is a beautiful colonial house located in Popayan's historic center. The stay includes a delicious colombian-style breakfast which you can eat at a charming patio while listening to birds and admiring the back garden of the house. The owners and staff are incredible kind and helpful. Since this is a very old house, bathrooms are old...

I wish I could give this casa a better rating. It's a beautiful old house with lots of potential but could use a little TLC. The room is ample size but the beds are hard. Some may like that but it was too hard for my tastes. The bathroom was fine but the shower had very low pressure and usually...

Popayan is an important cultural city with a variety of hotels. La Casa de Mima is a homelike hotel were you are attended by its owner who looks forward to make your stay the best. It’s located near the center of the city. Since it’s just a bed and breakfast hotel, you can’t expect much of it, their beds aren’t...

We stayed with Casa Mima for 2 weeks. We were greeted with Empanadas and welcoming smiles, and that level of service and comfort remained for our entire stay. The entire staff was so accommodating to our entire family, helping us book appropriate travel plans for day trips, etc. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean, and the house is beautiful...

We really enjoyed staying at Casa Mima. Everyone is very helpful, including the owners themselves. It is so peaceful inside their door. Olga, the proprietress, is great at giving tips and offering suggestions/contacts. The place is 100 years old bit well kept, and it's well-located too.

It was quite hard to find the hostel as there is no sign outside the door. We did not have a reservation and after five minutes of knocking at the door we wanted to leave, because we thought that it might be the wrong adress. But then Olga, the owner arrived by car and let us in. And we were...

“All rooms are good. If you are traveling with another family, ask about the two big rooms that can be linked. All the rooms we could see are nice though.”

“Generally very quiet, but if you're traveling solo or as a couple and want the most peace and quiet, ask for a room near the back. Also, the swimming pool is tiny... great for soaking, but impossible to do laps.”
