I've been meaning to write this review for 7 months now and I'm just getting around to it so my memory of the trip isn't going to be the freshest but I'll do my best. There were 4 of us that went on this trip...More
Our first experience at an all inclusive resort and would not go anywhere else in Mexico. From buffet breakfast to the fine dining in the evenings, bartenders that were more than attentive all day and night, the entertainment staff was excellent and entertaining whether at...More

This place was gorgeous, clean, safe, and friendly. You will have classy entertainment and can get away from the crowds by choosing a nook on the beach away from the swimming area. The pool was huge with two swimup bars. They also have a lazy...More

I'd ask for it at check in, to start the next day. That way, in theory, you get the bali bed for the entire day. As JluvsPlaya stated, three day minimum, so almost $500 for two people just for the three days. On that note, you can rent the beds by the day if available, $42. Lobster can be purchased if you want it at dinner. And you can grab a bottle of your booze of choice at Duty free or stop at a market on your way in if you want a bottle in your room. These alternate options are a lot less expensive. Some people swear by the PP, but it's not worth it to me. We ate early, by 7, so never had to wait for a table. PP allows you to make reservations, but I don't want to decide and be committed to a particular time and place that early in the day, we play it by ear. The other reason to only do the three day minimum. With the PP, daily you get the bali bed, ability to make reservations, lobster with dinner and use of the privilege lounge. The other features are just a one time perk, once perstay, whether you pay for 3 nights or 10 nights. I don't know if they replace your bottled alcohol when you finish off a bottle though, or if it is just a one time supply of the 4 bottles. If you haven't already, join the FB group, Valentin Imperial Fans. We just hit 14,000 members....popular place ;)

Not all room categories have Nespressos, deluxe don't at this time and they just started putting them in the silvers, you get a regular mini coffee maker otherwise. Higher categories have them. Two breakfast buffets, one opens at 7:30, the other opens at 7am. They have urns at the entrance with coffee and to-go cups. This was available before the restaurants opened when we were there in Sept. Got coffee, watched the sunrise on the beach , then headed back for breakfast at 7 (mar y tierra). You can order your room service for breakfast the night before, you don't have to wait until the morning, speeds things up. Are you asking about snacks with breakfast coffee, or midday? Little pastries and things in the lobby /martini bar in the AM if you don't want to do a restaurant/buffet. Pool snack bars aren't open that early.

Hi we just returned Wednesday night from VIM. We booked a catamaran trip right at the main pool towel hut at the resort. There’s a dive shop team right there that can schedule this. We booked through Jesus and Paul and our trip was amazing! We had a large group so we did a private catamaran for 18 of us. We drove to Cancun and left from there. They took us out on the bay where we had a snorkeling spot and then went to isla mujeres and were able to get out and swim right there at the island. I definitely recommend going and talking to these guys about your trip. We weren’t disappointed!
Tell them Austin and Jenna sent you!
