My husband brought me here for dinner as part of a Long Point Eco-Adventures package. Even though we're from the area, I hadn't heard of this place before. From the front, it looks like a general store, but when you walk in, it's a quaint little entrance to the inn that leads to the restaurant in the back. We opted... More

This historic property has many strengths often found in country inns off the beaten trail, including a first-rate restaurant. It is also unique in many ways: easy access to a public swimming beach; a grove of ancient hardwoods alongside; a relaxing garden graced by a magical presence of birds in the morning.

My husband and I only had time for a 2 day getaway, and chose this Inn at random. What a nice surprise to have found how nice it was. We were made to feel quite special and like welcomed guests. The rooms are small, but just perfect, very clean with a spacious bathroom. The food was very good too. I... More

Brenda and Hans, the proprietors, will make you feel welcome the moment you step into their cozy Inn. We arrived around midnight but the lights were on and Hans was there to greet us, give a quick tour, and show us our room. The cute little room was neatly furnished and clean. There were a wall unit A/C and a... More

Excellent Inn along the shore of Lake Eerie. Host Brenda very hospitable and caring. We took our dog and she was very accomodative and attentive to our pets needs. Food was good fresh from the local Market and suppliers. Do visit and take your family.

Booked Normandale Century Inn at the last minute, for a 2 day trip to Long Point Provincial Park (30 minute drive away); really glad we did. The place is really nice and the staff welcomed us immediately. The room was exactly as advertised, with AC, a nice TV with satellite, and an ensuite bathroom. The room was clean, and the... More

With my friend we spend here one night. We got a room with a big bed and a sofa. The room was clean and comforatble. We also had a dinner and breakfast here. The food was delicious, my favorite was a bun with beef ( I think it was called Normandale sliders or something like that :) ) As we... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Normandale Century Inn for three nights. It was a wonderful experience. Owner / Operator Brenda Bennett was attentive to our daily plans and even obtained information about area quilt shops for my wife. The meals in their restaurant were very nicely done. The dining experience includes viewing of the outdoor feeding stations... More

We decided late in the day to head to the Port Dover/Long Point area. We had dinner in Port Dover and took off down the road. It was getting late and dark and we realized we needed a place to stay. As we were driving through the lovely hamlet of Normandale we saw a sign on a telephone pole "rooms... More

This Inn is on the Main Street. Parking is also mainly on the street, since there are only 4 spaces on the property. We went there for 2 nights. The room was cute, facing the Main Street. The Inn has its own well, the water is very smelly. Our air condition unit was not working, we put it on, all... More
