Pros: 1. Wonderful and responsible staff 2. Lots of nearby food places Cons: 1. Very old interior and exterior 2. Older uncomfortable bed 3. Thermostat not accurate 4. Notable highway noise (5AM-9PM) This is the first Hyatt property in town where the staff got my usual requests right the first time around. They are great and professional, and the selection...

I came I to Bakersfield late one evening. I checked in to the hotel and was given a room at the back of the hoel. I had misgivings as I walked down some uneven steep steps that lead to rooms on the lower level. When I was inside, I was shocked by the appearance of the carpet, as it was...

The room was clean and attractive with a great view of the inner courtyard and pool. This is just a great place to stay at a reasonable cost. The dinner service was very nice since my wife and I split a main course and it was brought to us on two plates. It was perfectly divided for each of us.

This place is a great disappointment, particularly for a Hilton establishment. Sadly, it is quite rundown and shabby. The hallways are dirty, the carpet is filthy and there is trash in the stairwell and the elevators. Room decor is outdated, lighting is barely existing and road noise is unsettling. The room is relatively clean but the A/C is noisy. My...

The hotel needs a total face lift and not just cosmetic. Its an old hotel and needs to be brought up to 2016 standards. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Location is centrally located. Close to Hungry Hunter and Costco right across the street. Exit right off of highway 99. Close to shopping.

If you are travelling between LA and San Francisco on Highway 99 and need a break from the long driving; this hotel restaurant is highly recommended for the quality of food, service and ambience. I have been stopping there for at least once per month on my way to Southern California and back for more than 18 years, and never...

Ants all over the bathroom. Found them in the middle of the night. Think of the psyche of the rest of the night's sleep. You can't. Then you begin to think they are crawling in your luggage, your computer bag, your food bag, etc.

Hotel was in a good location - easy on and off freeway - located near dining out, is very good - room needed much more cleanliness - ice machines need to be working - halls need not to have dirty dishes!

Hotel room was tired and worn down. Elevator is inconvenient for most of the rooms and required too much stair use to go to lobby and parking lot. Front desk staff were good, lobby and pool area nice and clean. There are NO laundry facilities, making this not fiendly for guests staying several days.
