My niece and her husband and my husband and I spent three lovely nights at the Back Bay Inn. While not a new facility, the carpet was spotless, as was the bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor with a wonderful view of the back bay just south of Morro Bay. It is about 15 min. by car from...

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and so appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings that the area offers. Our ground floor rooms in the Main Building are some of the more popular ones at the Inn with their patios and view across the water. We look forward to hosting you on your next visit to the...

My husband and I stayed here for one night with our dog while visiting family for Christmas. The hotel was fine - nothing to write home about. Our room felt more like a tool shed or laundry room, converted into a hotel room. There was only one chair in our room, which offered us no comfortable seating inside our room...

To address your concerns, we would let you know that we are in the process of changing the furniture in the room to allow two chairs to be placed there. As for the heating situation, we apologize that the fan was not working and if you had had...

It's getting harder and harder to find peace and tranquility along the California coast but the Back Bay Inn is a hidden gem in a still unspoiled part of the coast. With a wine reception upon arrival, my wife and I sat for a couple hours on our patio and sipped the Paso Robles cab while watching the birds and...

Thank you so much for your great review of our waterfront property. Our two balcony rooms in the rooms in the Main Building are the most popular and have wonderful views of the gardens, the Back Bay and Montana de Oro hills in the distance. There's something magical about those light-giving French doors opening from my suite to a patio with view of misty Morro Bay, a lounging lawn, garden of succulents, and weathered fishing boats. After a deep peaceful sleep in my cosseting king-size bed, I could have sat all day and imbibed the tranquility of this perfect village of Baywood Park. The frenzied...

This is a serene, quiet and beautiful property. The rooms are large and very clean, the beds very comfortable, which is a must for us. We had a lovely view from our room. The staff is excellent; responsive and personable. The included breakfasts were wholesome, varied and delicious. I would recommend this getaway to family and friends.

Absolutely everything about our stay was perfect. The room was comfortable and quiet and exactly what you would expect from a nice inn. But what exceeded all possible expectations was the location.
