I've just spent 5 nights at Sanddrif hiking, riding mountain bike trails, birding and exploring the river. The outdoor facilities were really to my liking even if the portion of the farm north of the river was burned and inaccessible. Walking to the Maltese cross is strenuous but rewarding. Riding the red blue and black routes is awesome👍🏼👍🏼 We camped...

After the 47km drive up a gravel road (there are some sections of concrete/brick) you already know this is a special place. The accommodation is functional with the newer Protea cottages a little nicer than the older "planets". The reception and shop have some basics, plenty of cool drinks and of course a full range of Cederberg wines. The caves...

This resort have very comfortable, very basic and clean, cottages with amazing views. We, as a family, go there regularly. Great place for stargazing, hiking and family braai and kuier. Must see is Stadsaal caves, the cracks, the ach and the Maltese cross.

Campsite is pristine with lush green lawns and ample shade from big beautiful trees. Always a sprinkler running somewhere creating a cool and tranquil feeling on a hot summers day. We chose to stay in one of chalets and were quite close to the river, which snakes through the resort. It has a white sandy beach and is perfect for...

Lovely shady and green campsite! Having no cellphone signal is the first thing on my priority list when planning for a weekend away! No need to bring purified water - the berg water is fine and refreshing! The ablution facilities were clean and serviced regularly. Big ups for using solar power geysers! Too bad the holiday resort does not allow...

Rustic chalet on the river bank. Basic but fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Inside fireplace to keep warm, outside sheltered braai. Wood/charcoal/firelighters available from reception. Perfect base for hiking the Maltese cross and Wolfberg cracks & arches. Permits available from reception. Excellent value for money, we will definitely be back.

Nice setting. Beautiful scenery. Close to wine tasting of Cederberg wines. Close to scenic routes and places. Busy over weekends. Camping site ablutions require beter maintenance and measures to reduce the muddy feet pollution.

I could not do the main walks as I am not fit enough but it is wonderful scenery and even short walks are rewarding. The geology is amazing and vast vistas and changing landscapes make it a wonderful experience. Stayed one night in the chalet [each one set up for 4 people] and found all the necessary facilities - but...

We camped here on our trip. Lovely spot by the river with beautiful surrounding mountains. The campsites and bathrooms were clean and we'll kept. Really enjoyed our outing to the observatory up the road as well.
