Stayed here last minute and regretted it. It is simply not to modern hotel standards. The doors, walls and hallways are like a very old apartment building - you hear everything. Rooms old and beat up. Not particularly clean. It is a 2 star anywhere but perhaps Beverly Hills.

My stay at the hotel was fabulous. The rooms are fresh and well appointed When you check in, the front desk walks you to your room and tells you about the history of the hotel as well as what the hotel includes. Free WIFI, lounge is open till 11pm. You will enjoy the art throughout the hotel too! PS. I...

Everything was perfect at The Crescent! Check in was easy, getting around to the rest of LA was easy, Rodeo Drive is literally less than 5 minutes walk. Our room was spacious, clean and modern bathroom, and big tv. The bed was quite possibly most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. When I got into bed the first night I...

Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and had super soft sheets… like sleeping on a cloud! One small suggestion, they might consider brighter lighting in the bathroom. Perhaps either offer or install lighted makeup mirrors... it was a bit tricky to apply makeup in the dimly lit, dark concrete bathroom. Otherwise, it was wonderful stay...

We loved this place. After a crazy day, and an horrific cab driver, we stumbled into the Crescent not knowing what to expect. It was so lovely. Unique artwork. Professional and attentive staff. The rooms done beautifully but alas no mini bar :( We LOVED the outdoor area and bar. The bartender knew his stuff. The waitress was SO lovely...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was small and the first floor. It was quite a noisy place as its on a main road.Although we did sleep well. The bed was a small double. There bathroom that was polished concrete but it was quite dark overall. The air conditioning was a awkward to work but we got there eventually....

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Beverly Hills hotel, a true boutique with just 32 rooms, is in the heart of Beverly Hills just 3 blocks from Rodeo Drive. The front palm lined terrace (breakfast, nibbles, tapas and dinner) faces Crescent Ave - a wide palm lined boulevard. Established in 1927 and newly renovated in 2013, the décor is casually Hollywood, like a comfy collection of styles from the studios' storehouse of set designs stretching from 1920 to 2013. The feeling is “at-studio-at-home” with a film designer’s whimsy. The terrace and lounge flow to create the hotel’s social hub, offering casual dining and a relaxing bar/lounge, punctuated by Beverly Hills chatter. Directly opposite the hotel are the historic offices of MCA Studios. Our hotel became MCA’s local choice, where a cadre of players would stay when in town. ... more   less
