This hotel is fantastic--but it has two buildings and odds are you will be in the new building--the old building is beautiful and in the new building everything works and everything is very nice...but the hotel has a lot of rooms, and more significantly it has a banquet hall--so sometimes you will come home to your room and there may...

Just returned from a 4 night stay with my family at the Beverly Wilshire hotel. My entire experience was perfection. The location is amazing, with tons of shops, restaurants and department stores nearby. There is even a Soul Cycle across the street. The concierge was very helpful. My room was elegant and comfortable and the service was impeccable. My children...

We stayed in the older rooms at the front of the building and loved the position looking right down Rodeo Drive. The bar and restaurant at the front of the hotel was super comfortable and food and service was great. Best position with Barney's, Saks and Neiman Marcus all within a 2 minute walk. Great service and they treat the...

I've stayed at the Wilshire twice and have had great times but do find this place to be pretentious and a little over rated. The food and drinks aren't the best but the location is very nice and convenient for those who like to shop. You can bump into celebrities - we bumped into Lionel Richie which was a great....

Stayed at the BW for a week for a conference the first week of November. Check in was very smooth and I was upgraded to a suite in the old tower on the 4th floor (overlooking Doheny) from a regular room in the new tower. Whether it was an upgrade or not I didn't much care since I wasn't spending...

We stopped in for a drink and a light lunch, what a stunning hotel with excellent staff and service. Very stylish and comfortable bar area with something for everyone on the menu. Great terrace for people watching and enjoying the sites. Although a little pricey for some it's worth having a glass or two of their champagne which come with...

This property is stunning~ from the moment you arrive! Valet is very efficient, and the lobby is beautiful with high ceilings, crown molding, marble floors~ no luxury has been spared. What a treat to be escorted to our room by Marc, who processed our check in. We were upgraded to a lovely suite (715) in the original section of the...

Stayed at the Beverly Wilshire for 5 nights in October. Staff was extremely snobby and rude! I'm not sure if it's because we are a younger couple, but we were not treated the way we should have been for the price they charge. The hotel is old and needs major updating! Obviously, it's really expensive- but we already knew that....

I recently stayed at this iconic hotel, Beverly Wilshire for a convention event for a week. It was located at the junction of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard, the luxury hotel was opened since 1928. The location was surrounded by numerous branded good stores and would be a heaven for a shopping aficionado. It also houses the Boulevard on Wilshire...

This hotel has room for improvement. Positives were we were allowed to check in early. Received a corner room and were provided a late checkout. But, found a plastic water bottle cap on the floor of the room upon entering. Shower curtain rod was rusty. Veneer on bath vanity was showing water damage. Grout in marble bathroom need cleaning. When...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
