Staff seems really friendly everytime I spoke with someone. I Stayed iin an off propety location, and had to pay an extra $50 dollar cleaning fee. But I had to wash dishes(understandable). Take out my own trash to there dumpster or other site in BB. or its a $5 charge per bag. Make sure all windows were locked or $5...

I am sorry you felt that we were charging excessive fees. The only $5 fee was the garbage fee, this is a Ordinance that we must comply with TPHR (Transient Private Home Rental). Regarding the other list of rules: In reference to the thermostat, during the winter season it has to be maintained at minimum 55 degrees. Nothing was said...

When checking in, the young lady at the desk was super nice, answered my questions, and sold me some firewood. I stayed for 1 night in room 26 and it was very clean. They upgraded me to a loft room due to a booking snag and the place was cozy. The beds were large and the wood stove was fun...

Very accommodating staff, immaculately clean generously sized room and good location make this a welcome respite. We were in room 20 and loved the room, though one night we were wakened several times by noisy revelers on the adjacent stairs returning to their rooms.

We went to the Honey Bear Lodge in Big Bear not knowing where to stay but this place was recommended by the waitress. She said the lodge was there for a long time and is kind of an icon. Plus it was very close to the village so you could walk to have breakfast or put back a few cold...

Simple room, with a Wood Stove for heat. Small college frig, queen bed, futon. Room is a little dated, a little older, but no complaints, it was a good value for the price. I would stay here again. Oh- they have huge pines in the yard. When I sat outside enjoying my morning coffee, you could just smell the wonderfully...

My husband and I stayed in one of the loft rooms w/o a balcony. It was plenty of room for both us and all of my triathlon gear. I was in Big Bear because I had a triathlon that weekend so I had plenty of gear with me and needed the space. The hotel is conveniently located to the "village"...

We chose a cabin for our 2 nights stay in Big Bear, we had #16. The bedroom had 2 queen beds, a futon in the living room, it was well equipped with a full kitchen. The kitchen trash had not been emptied, but they came immediatly after we called to fix that. During the second night the heater stopped working...

Loved it!!!! Made a decision to drive the 2.5 hours literally 6 hours before so that my Husky could see snow for the first time. I called Marcos (the Manager) to let him know I would getting in after midnight and when I pulled up he had left both lights on for me including the porch light. He didn't charge...

Wife and I had a chance for a quick mini-vacation and we hadn't been to Big Bear in years. It's a good place to get out of the heat, with more things to do than, say, Idyllwild. When we go anywhere, I like to find a place that is close enough to the center of the action that we can...

I stayed here with my children and 13 members of my family. There is no pool but the outside area with BBQ's, shade, horse shoes gave us the best place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful out doors of big bear while being able to stay in the comfort of a hotel room! We created so many memories there...
