I'm here with a friend of mine. The cabins are equipped with a small kitchen and have separate living space and bedroom. We're enjoying the cozy cabin feel. Location if good if you want to be by Big Bear Lake or want to ski/snowboard. We'll proceed for the area in high season.

This place is super cute and affordable. The suites/cabins are separated so you don't get that hotel feel like all the visitors are just in a big building with walls separating them. We booked the standard suite for two nights. The suite was cozy and made us feel like we were at home. The decor is warm and mountainy, making...

The cabin have one king bed and one queen in the living area and one extra bed. So it will be good for family of five. Definitely you will come back

We went at the end of July for my boyfriend's Birthday and to get away from the heat. It was absolutely wonderful! It smells good inside and out, it's quiet, we walked to town every night. Bed is comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped (micro wave, oven, fridge). It is very clean. It is so much nicer than a hotel...

First off, there are some really great things about this property and a few things that could be changed/fixed to make it fabulous. The good really outweighs the bad by a ton, therefore the 4* rating. We waited a little bit of last minute to book a late-December trip to Big Bear so we were really excited to find that...

We had been so busy for the past several months and really needed a quiet get-away. What we wanted was a cozy cabin in the mountains, where we could rest and relax. The Timber Haven Lodge was exactly what we wanted! The cabin was clean, cozy, and inviting. The owners could not have been nicer, and they had decorated the...

No matter which way you arrive at Big bear lake, you are guaranteed to see nature at its finest. From the snake-like mountain passes that ascend to almost 7000 feet, to the pine-covered valleys below, that threaten to lure the drivers eye off the road. A scenic treat to behold. And nestled amid the high pines that forest much of...

The premise is well maintained and we loved the jacuzzi and the table tennis. Big bear lake and village are nice places enough restaurants and plenty to...

The wife and decided to get away one weekend and after hours of searching we chose timber haven lodge. We were not disappointed! Great little room, we had a spa tub in our room and gas fire place. The staff was amazing and very kind. Off the main roads so very quiet. I was a little concerned being in cabin...

“Cabin I believe 7 - the log cabin is located right next to the parking lot. While you sleep you can hear car doors slamming shut all night long. Just wanted to point this out in case you're a light sleeper. Oh and the biggest tip is to bring your own fire logs!”

“Cabin 7 had more space, so it would be better for 4-6 people. It has been thoughtfully updated, while still keeping the feel of the 1920s log cabin. Great if you want to experience Big Bear the way it used to be. Also a bit closer to playground and spa.”
