We stayed three nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and clientele. There was a lot of fog in September '13. The food is very good, service excellent. (a slow breakfast only one day - a cook didn't come in). One massage was excellent, the second just average. We enjoyed talking with other guests in the hot tub and around the...

I've lived in Sebastopol my whole life and pretty much grew up at Bodega. We have been passing this hotel with family for at least 20+ years and never once stayed here. Finally planned a trip and went. Checking in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. Entered the whirlpool suite and was amazed by the amazing...

I stayed here for three nights at the end of a very active two week holiday. From the minute you walk into the reception area you know you're going to be getting a really high level of service. The staff were very welcoming, very knowledgable about the area and gave me lots of advice to help me make the best...

Stayed here for an overnight getaway to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. The hotel noted that we would be arriving for our anniversary and left a nice greeting card prior to our arrival. Our Room was very spacious and balcony was truly (I mean truly) private with very nice bay views. The property overall is beautiful, well maintained, quiet, relaxing,...

My wife and I planned a trip to Sonoma and chose Bodega Bay Lodge as our basis because of the out of the way location on the Pacific Ocean and access to a great restaurant. We stayed for for nights in early May and the weather was perfect. The locals told us that it was a great time of year...

I did have some mixed feelings after reading some of the peoples reviews. We arrived and the place blended in to look like the rest of the landscape. Nice beachy lodgey look. It was a big milestone birthday so my husband arranged a special surprise for me when we arrived. They had champangne, fruit and cheese plate. It was a...

Just had a very pleasant Labor day weekend stay at the Bodega Bay Lodge. The setting is beautiful, the grounds and gardens are filled with flowers and the rooms are spacious, well maintained and have great views of the bay. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant our first night and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place...

Although arrived and left in thick fog - this lodge was very comfortable and relaxing. Room was huge with a comfortable bed. View of beautiful grounds. Good restaurant. We found that one full day was enough time in town.

The Bodega Bay Lodge is truly in a beautiful location. The views of the Bay, the Sunsets, and the romantic setting makes it unforgettable. But its proximity to the Green and Bennet Valley with some of the most fascinating wines and locations in the California Wine Country just adds to the splendor of the location. Nearby vineyards to add to...

To those reviewers who bellyached about the fog horn: Did you not know this spectacular swath of the Sonoma Coast is often foggy? It's what makes Bodega Bay so magical, you silly ones! As for the lodging, our room was serene and intuitively appointed. Everything we needed was just where we looked for it first. And kudos to the interior...
