We ended our week long trip to California with a two night stay at Bodega Bay Lodge - what a great way to end our trip to California. The hotel is very nice, with exceptionally well-kept grounds, beautiful outbuildings, welcoming lobby/reception area and spacious comfortable rooms. The rooms have working fireplaces - we didn't use ours. The staff were very...

We stayed at the Bodega Bay Lodge last weekend for one night. We arrived early and were lucky to check-in before the regular check-in time. We had a ground floor room with a partial ocean view and it was lovely. Our room was nicely furnished, great little patio area and a huge bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was less...

Very lovely place, nice rooms, lots of friendly people working there. We were particularly impressed with Amanda, who went out of her way to make sure everything went well. She is one of the best people I've ever met at reception. The dining room serves great food with wonderful views, but is way understaffed, which makes service very slow.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Bodega Bay Lodge. Our room, the Crows Nest was located in Bldg. 5 on the second floor. It was a huge room, nicely appointed with a fireplace and lovely view of the bay. It is the farthest room from the ofc. but this was fine for us. The breakfast...

This lodge is located in a gorgeous location with indescribable views of the Pacific. We stayed in a "whirlpool room" with cathedral ceilings and nice furnishings. Loved the ability to blast heat just in the bathroom. Here were my issues: Check in was ridiculous. We arrived 40 minutes early and instead of checking us in to get our keys when...

We only had one night here but it was well worth the stay. The check in was quick and efficient with the lady giving us good information of local restaurants and things to do. We also had a glass of wine on arrival....always a bonus. Our room was HUGE, clean and had a lovely view. The bed was the most...

I was surprised by the quality of this property with the rates that are rather inexpensive. We loved the spa and the restaurant. The location is absolutely beautiful and manicured. I can't say that the property is run-down, the rooms are a little outdated. But for a 3-star hotel, it did exceed my expectations. Couple of negatives: one of bartenders...

At $420 a night, I expected an experience worthy of this hefty price. Here is what I got: A booked a pacific coast double room. At check-in, I asked for the best view possible and the front desk girl offered first and second floor options. I reiterated again that I wanted the best view possible and the girl recommended the...

My husband and I went here before heading into Sonoma & Napa. What a great way to experience the coast - reminded me of being in the Northeast. Was very relaxing and just what we needed to "get away from it all."

Wow, what a beautiful resort! My wife and I stayed at Bodega Bay Lodge on September 10th. That morning, we finished our amazing night stay in Shelter Cove, CA and then enjoyed the beautiful drive down the coast to Bodega Bay. The check-in at Bodega Bay Resort was quick, and the staff was very kind and courteous. My wife and...
