The room was smaller than appeared in photos. The shower was tiny. I'm 5'2" and 155# and I could not turn around within the water flow to feel I was sufficiently rinsed. Ladies you can forget shaving. The upside was the room was clean and close to Burney Falls and not far from Lassen Volcanic Park which were our destinations...

Your limited as to where to stay in Burney and you can't beat this motel for price. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Easy parking. We've stayed there on our last two trips and will again. We stay in the newer section. No pool but we don't care about that.

Stayed recently while helping partner with resupply on PCT. Rooms in newer 2 story building are larger and nicer than the older part of hotel which are still nice enough. The owners (an older Indian gent and his family) were quite welcoming and offered to show us several rooms (they seemed to not grasp that two grown men were ok...

Our group had 3 rooms. Two were good, one had a musty smell, more than likely because of a rotten bathroom floor. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. There is no pool, laundry or breakfast. McDonald's is across the street. Restaurant next door was good, but a little pricey and only open in evenings five days a week.

We were very surprised by this motel! The grounds were kept very nice. It was very peaceful and quiet. The rooms were better than a lot of major hotels we have been in. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff was great!

This is a surprisingly clean and updated motel with well-maintained grounds. Beds are comfortable and the room was clean. There was a detachable hand-held shower which is uncommon in motels, but very appreciated. Helpful and friendly front desk staff.

If you are headed to Burney, CA the Shasta Pines is a good place to stay. It is clean, fairly comfortable the owners are pleasant and helpful. The price is about average for Burney, which doesn't have too many choices. It is definitely not a 'modern hotel'. Art's Outpost restaurant is at the entrance. It is the best restaurant in...

We were part of large group staying in about 20 rooms. Our reservations were made in January for an October stay. I had difficulty communicating with the man on the phone, but eventually made our reservation. I had a nagging feeling when we arrived that they wouldn't have a reservation, but they did. Our room clean newly refurbished, no complaints....

I was happy that our room was clean and ready when we arrived. Wish there was a door separating the vanity area. Make sure to put the do not disturb sign on your door if you don't want housekeeping to pound on your door at 8am. If you miss that clean-up call they won't come back.We were out of room...

I called about 3 weeks before my wife & I were to arrive and requested a king room on the second floor. The lady on the phone said they had vacancies & we were given a discounted AARP rate as well as a confirmation number. Upon our arrival on 8/20/2014, we were given a queen room on the 1st floor....
