Calistoga Spa Hot Springs is the Calistoga stay we didn't even know we were looking for, but absolutely loved. We were in town for a wedding and picked it to stay for a couple of nights for convenience and thinking that the kids would enjoy swimming some... Turned out we all LOVED spending every minute we could by the pools....

This place felt very corporate, like it was designed to host conferences, not guests. Poor room quality with limited cleaning services, small, no personal touches. Customer service was mediocre at best. They only give robes out to those staying in Kings or Suites...

Calistoga Spa Hot Springs is the perfect get away to truly relax! I have been going there for years and now with my seven year old son. He feels so comfortable swimming there. The four pools offer soothing remedies ~ lap, fountain children's, bath water smaller, then the circular, blue-tiled Jacuzzi! The world's troubles dissipate into bubbles, lifted off and...

I love this place, but I'm a bit bummed about how much more crowded it's become since the expansion. This visit I stayed on a Sun-Mon, and the pool was quite full both days. I paid almost double what I used to for the room my girlfriend and I shared, and had half the space to float in the pool....

The rooms were re-done recently and are really welcoming, and with elegant touches. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchenette is very functional. But it's the two shower heads that really rate five stars. Best ever! The pools and pool area are a great place to spend the day. I had a massage, too, and it was top-notch. I...

The spa is great with wonderful service. The room was small but very well appointed with a small kitchen and essentials to cook with. What a lovely western style town to visit with many great restaurants and shops.

Desperately needing relaxation, we stayed in the 2 bdrm/2 ba family suite. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Having pools w/ various temps accommodated us all perfectly. Our whole focus was to relax in the pools, BBQ outside our door, walk to everything in town, hike in the mountains nearby, drive to Summer's Winery & Petrified Forest and eat...

Such a great place to go. Always clean, sparkling. The rooms are well done. Helpful and kind personnel. Nice town to walk around. Interesting shops. Love being able to cook a meal in the morning. Grocery store across the street if you forget something.

Love the Location - tucked from the main street and private driveway with parking. The luggage cart parked outside the registration office is so convenient for the guest to just grab and take care of their own belongings. Yes, there are compromises to this upscale spa hotel --- No room service. One has to leave the room with socially acceptable...

We were very excited to spend the weekend in Calistoga and chose Calistoga Spa and Hot Springs based on the great reviews on TripAdvisor. Boy were we disappointed! Initially we had made appointments for the spa and were assured that the remodel would be complete prior to our arrival. They did call us the day before to let us know...

Hello Ms. Johnson, I would like to offer our apology for the spa not been fully renovated when you stayed with us. We had a few delays that we were navigating and did not intend for it to affect your visit with us, which it obviously did. We hope if you visit Calistoga again in the future we may have...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors. ... more   less
