Detailed Reviews
The hotel is clean, the parking was not free,10 a Day, there was No hot breakfast. Breakfast there in the grab and go back was unhealthy. It would be nice if you grab and go back had a piece of fruit or something substantial. The hotel pool and jacuzzi seem clean.

This location could do much better with a few small things:
Ditch the $10 per day parking. This isn’t NYC. It’s just annoying and off putting considering one can park a block away on the street just fine.
Breakfast is bleak. Add granola and peanut butter and daily bananas. It would go a long way to improving a really really unhealthy set of choices ( sugar and sugar and sugar)
Front desk staff would benefit from some training on friendliness. Prickly to deal with. I heard other strangers at breakfast saying the same. Very unhelpful in general.
Otherwise very clean and quiet. Comfortable room.

Great clean hotel with nice pool and outdoor seating area. They did a decent job with the free breakfast with a variety of items to choose from including a hot breakfast sandwich, cereals, juices, fruit, breakfast bars, etc. Much better than many hotel's grab and go breakfasts. Conveniently located to the 101 and only 15 minutes from Channel Islands NP visitor center and Island Packers tours. We would stay here again.

I am not sure of reason for the previous review. If the hotel was not brand new, we couldn't tell. Every area was modern and extremely clean. I passed several hotel housekeeping staff and every one was wearing masks. My room lit up and played music on the TV when we entered. Everything was new. My kids called it fancy and were in awe when we entered the lobby. We travel to hotels several times a year. Ryan was so gracious!! She came out to the pool and helped my family and I. Above and beyond the call of duty! We stayed in Santa Barbara the night before and that hotel canceled breakfast all together. This hotel had bags prepared for breakfast to keep people safe from Covid and still provide. It is pretty far from home but we would not hesitate to stay here again. Comfy beds, clean, and service comparable to none. I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff was during our stay.

We planned an event with friends and they did a lousy job.
We had made this reservations weeks in advance and the adjoining rooms we reserved were changed and the manager who came in later said any of the staff can change rooms. What the use of making reservations 3 weeks and guarantying them with management.
This hotel was closed for renovation for years and opened back up. Our shower in our executive suite was in poor condition and had rust in shower and it had been there awhile, see picture.
We had left wake up calls only to have them be forgotten. Front desk staff was useless and they have perfected the apology, what they should be working on is customer service.

Room was ready and cleaned when we arrived. Bathroom and beds were clean. Room had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Free breakfast in the lobby included which had cereal, eggs, waffles, egg sandwiches, and coffee. You do have to park for parking for each night but it is approximately 15 mins out of downtown Ventura.

The management of this hotel has more interest in greed than customers. They charge $10.00 for parking which is absurd. This is a nice new hotel run by the wrong people. Sorry, but they should be upfront. Nice room but wrong way to run a Marriott property.

The room was very clean and comfortable. All throughout the night, I heard a buzzing noise. I turned switches on and off. TV on and off. My brother who was in the next suite detected the problem after a very sleepless night. Always call the front desk and they will come and unplug whatever is making the noise.

This is camarillo folks, they are not running out of room anytime soon. I should have parked on the street. They charged you $10 per nigh for parking. Nickel and dime you everywhere they can. I will make a note and not stay at this property anymore. There are plenty of property withing driving distance and not have to pay for parking.

Don’t stay. Front desk is incompetent and the managers “really busy” so busy he cannot make a call to rectify what should have been a simp fix. He won’t return my calls, I’ve called three times!
Dani they’re agent made a reservation for my family and I for the wrong day and times. To make matters worse they have now chargers me 3 times for a reservation that they made in error....really?
I am traveling for a funeral and now I cannot stay close to family because they are sold out and won’t attempt to make it right. Now I have to account for an additional expense which I needed to travel with. Thanks Marriott for messing up my travel arrangements and family time. So much for their guest standards. Do better!
