The Sonesta's very professional staff quickly checked us in to our clean, spacious king room with a patio overlooking the pool. Just right for a one-stay after a nearby wedding at a winery. Breakfast is not included but the Old New York Deli restaurant was open for breakfast and coffee, just steps away.

The room setting is neat, and the TV stand makes it easy for us watching movies both in bed or on the sofa. The room has a small balcony in which it is good enough to receive a good quality of sunlight during the daytime. The bed quality is good, above other Marriott hotels I have stayed; it could be my misconception because I never check the bed brand of each Marriott. Their freshly-made to-go breakfast is also wonderful and tasty.

They did not light up the fireplace during our stay, otherwise, we would have spent a bit of time down there. The pool is nice but there is no jacuzzi which it's a bit turn off for us.

Room was ok, no water pressure, not a clean as I would like to see, employees non committal.
There was no mention of a parking fee when we made the reservation,
They charged $10 per night for parking, when they clearly had plenty of parking available, even at the strip mall they were adjacent to. I checked all of the website, no mention of parking fees, only a cheesy note on the counter at check in, felt like I was contributing to somebodies extra pocket change

Very very bad.

Someone staying with our group had fresh BLOOD on their sheets. Beyond disgusted. If they had told us after the first night, we would have left.

We were charged for parking. This was NEVER discussed and the parking lot was not a restricted lot - shared with many businesses. Friends also staying in hotel were charged and they did even have a car.

Room were not cleaned daily - which I understand - but it should have been noted or a sign in the rooms (there was a sign about leaving towels on the floor to have them refreshed and about the tip for the housekeeper).

Wallpaper was peeling in restroom and popcorn ceilings.

Very, very bad stay!

Dirty! Linens had visible poop and blood stains, especially where people sit on the edge of the bed. Don't they wash and inspect linens? Replacements linens also had visible poop and blood stains. Then we shined phone flashlight on linens which showed more stains! Others have commented on room smell which may be the mold growing out of the bathroom wall which they paint over so it's harder to spot. Housekeepers are mean, even if you're friendly, and if you ask for something they shove it at you or refuse. Front desk doesn't answer the phone, and ladies at front desk are so rude. I called front desk when my spouse happened to be around lobby and saw the woman at front desk just standing there not answering phone. What if someone had an emergency? Or needed linens with no poop stains so they could get to sleep?

This would be the last place I ever stay, if I were to go back to that area of Southern California. We arrived early and was told a room was available, however, it would cost of $30.00. Then when we arrived, the desk representative acted if if they didn't want to check us in (we had a reservation). Room was not clean upon arrival - bottle caps and tags from previous tenants. Plus no soap to wash one's hands. Nobody cleaned our room after our first night, had to request for towels and lack of customer service.

Sofa was dingy, worn; stained;very uncomfortable; broken luggage rack not fixed even after informing desk. Did not inform that room was cleaned only every 4 days; coffee provided only for 1 day; charged $10/day for parking; need to landscape bushes trees along fence right next to major highway. Very ugly and noisy for whole bank of rooms facing the highway. No breakfast provided. On the other hand the cafe had good quality food and coffee.

I had high hopes as the reviews seemed honest and mainly good, however when we got there they didn't have the room I reserved specifically for my special needs child and gave me the option of first floor overlooking the freeway or second floor overlooking the freeway. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went ahead and checked in. Now with a family of 4 we need to be able to have a decent shower to get in and out, however there was zero water pressure, hair EVERYWHERE, and the water backed up in the shower to the point you are just standing in other people's hair and grime. When we tried to get our room switched that night, they said we had to wait til the morning, when we tried in the morning, they didn't have any accommodations to help remedy the issue, so we checked out a day early. Very disappointing and will NEVER go back, which is a shame because it is so close to family.

Rooms are good sized with a nice pull out desk. Lobby area ,with small bar and breakfast and lunch limited food items, is pleasant and comfortable. Bed quality and sleep comfort very good . Hotel is at the back of a small shopping plaza so convenient. Excellent NY Delhi next door as well as best restaurant in Camarillo, "Bistro 13". Nice big pool with room to swim laps. Good choice in the Camarillo area as is in a quieter , leafier part of town

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, big room, comfortable bed. I was early and they let me check in anyway. You can buy Starbucks coffee and a nice breakfast in the morning. My only problem was having to pay 10 dollars extra for parking.

No they do not. They have a snack bar like yogurt, fruit, drinks and pastry items all at cost. I would recommend the bagel place or McDonald's in shopping center across from hotel.
